I ended up getting a scorpion exhaust for mine....wayyyyy better than stock

It's a stock exhaust but it's even quieter than the stockers they put on Softails. On the Pan Am you hear the intake howl more than the exhaust. It' not terrible, but they could've went a little louder considering the stock exhausts I've heard on stock Japanese and European bikes are much louder. Now I'm going to have to check out the Scorpion exhaust, though I'm trying to be patient and wait on Stealth. Thank you for the recommend and for watching!

Pulled my air filter at 10,000 miles. Clean as a whistle. Left it in to 20,000 miles. Mind you my bike is pavement only. Just a personal choice ; I will never put a pipe on mine. I can see much better things to spend 900 to 1500 dollars on . Bags, passenger backrest and money for fuel and meals touring. Just my choice , not criticizing anyone elses choice. Over the years I spent thousands on high performance accessories on many bikes. Mostly sport and sport touring machines. These days I just want to ride ride ride. 2022 PA Special currently 23, 639 miles since new. Should surpass 30,000 by end of this riding season. No major issues as yet. Confident that there wont be any. I woukd dedinitely by another one. Great all around bike !!!!!

I pulled and washed my air filter at 5,000 like a responsible lad, boy was it filthy. I'm sure it has to do with riding on my gravel road. I clean my chain a lot too. I mostly just miss the throatier exhaust sound I think, but I get it why some just don't want to up the decibels. I think most people see an ADV bike and never consider how well it'll do strictly as a road/touring bike. One of the forums has a guy who kitted his out as a road only bike and he loves it (delimited he said the PA is capable of 170MPH!). Nice to see you're really pouring on the miles!
