Oh no 😂 I would have usedy workhorse plate and keep both lilac plates pristine. That hurt lol. It's just a gorgeous machine ! I'm so glad you got it from SB. I recently got a Platinum 6 without a playe system for $25 and I ordered the universal plate system from Amazon at a fabulous price. I love, love it! I should've gotten one sooner. It's a wonderful little workhorse 😃 This is a great video, so much information

LOL!! I hear ya! I have most of the machines you mention, I will say this one is great because it cuts and embosses everything!!!

I have been looking at machines for awhile, this one is beautiful. I have invested in a few steel rule dies and I really appreciate you showing how to use them. Someday I hope to cut some leather bits with them, but it's been forever since I used them and forgot how. I think this might be the one I've been waiting for, thanks for the review.

Yes they do, I've used them in the past. That is a very niche item that I didn't think to spend time on...but they are basically steel rule die thick.

I missed out on the blue one they had a while back and now they've come out with my favorite color. So I sit here trying to justify a new machine even though I already have a BigKick and a Gemini. 😂

I know the plates are meant to be used, but I don't think I would have the courage to cut into the lilac plates. They will always be my top plates.

I was always a Sizzix gal. I had the very first one they came out with. There’s no way I could use it now. I’m an old lady now in my 70’s Spellbinders is now my go to

Nope. None of the Platinum machines have a magnetic plate.

Thankfully this color does not appeal to me at all. But I will forever be sad that I missed out on the black platinum 6 since shipping to the EU would have more than doubled the price. The scout is a great addition to the lineup. I wonder if it's faster to use a small machine for small dies.

How are you holding that with one hand? I have the old white one and it's heavy. Is this one lighter than the original? I ordered the bundle because I love the color and wanted the universal plate system. Your video makes it look very light.

I was trying to hold out on buying but can’t pass up anything purple. Do you know if it works with the better press and the glimmer?
