Masterpiece..Rammstein is art..❤

March the 11th my mom passed away from a very short battle with cancer (less than 3 months not even a battle but I digress) she was just 60... This song has kept me sane since last year and helped me a bit to process my grief. Since then It has take the top place for my favorite Rammstein songs.

The song is about time itself and the inevitable path towards death (btw Zeit means just time, not time is coming). You should definitely look up the translated lyrics, since they add a ton to the song's meaning and are beautifully written.

Time really is one of those things that are just really frightening if you sit down and think about it. It imprisons us all completely, as if it was an endless train where all the cars are locked, running continuously off the edge of a cliff, and you don't even know how far ahead your railcar is. "Stop, please stop!" as the song says...

Why Like why everyone pause on that giving birth in reverse ?????? we are all born like that bro !!! Theres nothing disgusting ect ... This is just masterpiece

Americans.. don't blink twice at violence and children holding guns but birth which is literally the most natural, basic thing that we all go through, is too graphic lol

Rammstein and Rammsteins Videos are ART. Even though you got stuck a little bit with the soldier-thing .... it made you THINK and hit you emotionally .... and I believe that is one of the true reasons of art. And there is - in my opinion - no other band, that achieves this. Best example: Their "Deutschland" video ... not one teacher in the world or not one politician has managed to educate, show and transport so much impact ... and that happened within 9 minutes. The video made many people outside Germany rethink, shows a perfect view on German feelings about their motherland and the dark history .. the twist ... And I am mentioning this knowing songs like "in the ghetto" from Elvis Presley or other art criticizing main (world-peace)-topics. Thank you Rammstein for doing this. ALL of the members. And ... good side-effect... if it gets too deep .... release some pressure with one of their rather "goofy-mood" songs like "Dicke Titten" ... Additional: Thank you for watching the outros / Credits ... and I suggest ... look up lyrics I advance once ... Having them translated is too much information on lyrics AND watching their videos. Another thing that came to my the babies being put back in to the mother to be born again on earth and also coming back in a sense they died on earth and are now being born in the other world and their birth or rebirth on earth is them already starting to die because as soon as your born your dying..your dying to live or as Rammstein put it "Wir sterben weiter bis wir leben" "We keep dying until we live" because in a sense what we perceive as dying is us actually being born again into the other world that's why the girl in the end seems happy when she dies because she knows that her death here means her being born over there..if that makes any Sense? This is art at its finest..a true Masterpiece!!

„Zeit“ (time) Three creatures of destiny are named: their names are Urd (fate), Verdandi (that which is to come) and Skuld (guilt; that which should be). Their names are considered to be Norse equivalents of common medieval notions of time in the form of personifications of the past (Urd), present (Verdandi) and future (Skuld). The song deals with the theme of death and the transience of life. These motifs are expressed within the video through various images and metaphors. At the beginning, when the band members are drowning in the sea, Lindemann sings about the river of time, in which all people are trapped. This metaphor is visualized by the drowning in the video. In the war scene, where children first play war and later a battle actually takes place, the band sings about the inability to stop the future: "You can't summon the future, you don't tolerate a stay". There's an interesting effect with this song because it can emphasize your current emotional state. Just watch it in different moods. I haven't experienced anything like this before with a song.

We are all born this way. That/this is natural try to adjust your mind! ... and btw this is a good song.

My interpretation and thought was time goes on like a continuous cycle and those rare occasions when we are truly happy of course we want time to stop. The showing of the sand and hourglass ⌛ time keeps going and them showing the scenes reversing to me meant a desire to go back in time either to the moment of birth and start our lives over or to before we're even born saying no i don't even want to be born i want to go back before i was even conscious of my own existence and mortality. Them being blindfolded to me was no one knows whats going to happen in the future we don't know what kind of lives these babies are going to have.

This song is about time and its impact on our lives. It's not about soldiers and not about war. The title means simply "time". Not "time is coming". This song has extraordinary beautiful lyrics...and sorry: reacting to this song without understanding the lyrics makes almost no sense at all. The lyrics in combination with the video are the true powerful thing about this video. If you aren't looking up the lyrics you can't even get a glimpse to the powerful nature of this song.

As already mentioned, the time does not come, the times are running.

Weren't you at the birth of your children? The woman was probably allowed to do it alone. Incredibly uptight and unnatural behavior.

Great reaction ! But if everyone will make such a face like you when seeing a birth then there will be millions of such faces every day in th whole world. Not nice to Imagine... :-)
