Especially followed by Prince Perv because for what Diana knew, she feared for her life. I agree with Bill but Diana was an exception. I was a girl when she married and I shared the experience with my mom. That is the magical illusion of it all. But, Diana used her position to help soo many others, to bring awareness to serious issues and to be a role model to young women. Until... If her sons have a different idea as how to run their lives, they have earned it! "Royal Blood" was something important once. They felt that there were no defects or "blood sickness" that would contaminate the blood line and they wanted to keep it that way. This was the very opposite of what their subjects had lived with. This is why hemophilia, found in the current Royal Blood Line, proves that there was a switcheroo back in the day..

"His or Her Royal Highness" is only used while in the performance of royal duties. Harry is still a prince and the duke of Sussex and Megs is still the duchess of Sussex. They are keeping Frogmore Cottage and funding from Prince Charles. Nothing has been taken from them and they haven't given up anything. Megs wanted to use HRH as her brand, but the royals do *not* get paid to work with brands and can’t be seen to be influenced by sponsorship deals. Harry and Meg are still the president and vice president of the Queen's Commonwealth Trust and are establishing additional foundations much like the Soros and Clinton foundations. Consider who is hosting them in Canada and who has been advising them. This is a move by the Queen to squirrel away and launder trafficking monies. Who knows what will happen to the monarchy upon the death of the queen.

@@geejaybee Fun Fact: It isn't free cash. The money the royals receive are rents on the Crown Estates. These are the vast family properties initially leased to Parliament by George III in exchange for a stipend, and which continue under that arrangement to this day. The government makes far, far more off these properties than the royal family gets-to the point that, if that relationship were ever ended, and the leasing of the Crown Estates stopped, it would either bankrupt the government or cause a significant increase in taxes. The UK is not propping up the royal family, it's the other way around.

Susan Kay : if Chuckie becomes king that could spell the end of the monarchy in Britain, which is a good thing.
