I just got my certificate as an online notary. I was trying to submit my document to the platforms but it says I needs a pfx or p12 file not a pdf. How can I get that?

@@garythornton3337would only make sense as a platform if you’re doing loan signings or multi document GNW since there is only a flat fee for transactions not per stamp

Pactima is great; I switched to it last year

Signed up with them a while back while I waited for my RON commission. After getting my RON commission, they are expensive AF. $20 a month then $15 dollar per notarization?! What?! I can only charge $25 in Florida, at what point do I make anything?

Hi, I have been following you for about 6 weeks and during that time I have enjoyed your course on Udemy and watched most if not all your videos. Are you back to working or have you transitioned to primarily providing guidance as a notary? As a fellow Washingtonian would you say there is a demand for IPENs? I am trying to gage if I should also offer them as I am RON and electronically endorsed on my commission. You got me interested in also adding LSA in your opinion which course would you say provides the best "training"? Thank you for the excellent content. Do I need an endorsement to do loan signings in Washington?

Thank you for the questions and for watching my videos! I still do notarizations but less than before. I think ipen is an easy thing to add onto your business especially if you already have a tablet- there are plenty of free ipen platforms like EscrowTab and BlueNotary (RON & IPen). I found if I do an in person notarization a lot of times the signer printed out the docs so offering ipen gives them 1 less step to do. If you become a LSA you don’t need any more permissions or endorsements from the state. Just take the NNA LSA certification- I also think they have one of the best courses you can take prior to taking their test.

Pricing plan can done a complete 180- it's no longer a monthly fee with no transactions. pactima.com/pricing RON for the individual is $20/month and $15 per notarization with one free notarization each month.

I tried it and it was not very user friendly for general notary work. I think it’s really only ideal for loan signings.

I tried it and I love it for general notary and wouldn't ever use it for loan signings - too much tagging for loan signings.
