The first set the bar way high tho. Never been so excited in a long time. I do love the bollywood stuff, but most of them are nationalistic propaganda crap movies. Now it's done by Jordan freaking Peele, the cinematics are amazing, colour palette is dope af, the soundtrack and spoken in English! And Dev Patel ain't bad either. Very underrated. Those marvel stuff are waste of time. Dune 2 has a pretty rich boy as the protagonist who's got no personality whatsoever. How many times are they going to make movies apes? Both big ones AND small ones. Beekeeper, painter, bricklayer I don't even??

Good news, AI like SORA will soon (within next year or so) have the ability, for people who learning prompting, create real movies, you can the director, producer, lead. Way too many woke films which have destroyed the cinema, and who is going to pay to stream this crap (and they want to squeeze more for no ads lol). We can put them out of business by not going, and should. We don't want to pay to have agendas rammed down our throats.

Adults don't go to movies .... they are catering to where the money is .... the tiktok audience... The problem with movies is "everything's been done" the only thing they can do is go more and more unrealistic with the CGI. Best forum quote ever (for laughs) ... I think all three are exactly the same movie with different art direction. Same endless gratuitous violence that doesn't move the plot. Same plot (probably but doesn't even matter). Same main character (different name). Same support characters (different colours). It's getting pretty formulaic. Damsel, Furiosa look interesting. No way up just looks stupid (I really hate so many laws of physics being broken or ignored like that). Civil War might be good or might be terrible.

Fury Road was good because it had a bad ass female character that didn't seem forced at all.....Furiosa looks to go the disappointing route of GIRL BOSS similar to the last Terminator and Predator attempts...

Bricklayer was great action like Beekeeper, road house remake looks stupid i will pass that one up, Dune 2 and Rebel Moon part 2 look amazing, Alienoid 2 Return to the Future love the first movie, Tiger apprentice was ok, fallout lets see if it stay true to the game.

Remember these are action movies, not all movies coming out in 2024. This year will be bad, next will be worse when the full effect of the Sag aftra strikes will be felt. I think TV/streaming series has been the much more entertaining form of story telling for at least 15 years anyway.
