We expect that level of quality from Marvel but not from DC who have in the past proved that they have the tech to make an awesome super suit and make it look real eg. Batman's suit from bvs and even Superman's suit from man of steel

The suit itself is really not bad it’s the folds and creases thats really turning people off, Cavill’s suit was molded from his body so it looked good because the guy has a great figure, Making the suit baggy takes away from the actors months and months of physical preparation.

Well since you guys like James Gunn let's see how this movie goes. If it flops then idk what DC can do to make fans come and enjoy these films. That's why I have faith in Marvel. People are trashing them and making false reports on stuff that are not being mentioned by Marvel. Marvel are keeping something huge and silent till comic con and D23 starts.

The suit doesn’t look all that great to me, but that logo is growing on me. Looking forward to it, and based off the characters being introduced, definitely looking forward to this movie.

Legitimately no idea why they are so attached to this 1 director with like maybe 1 or 2 good movies in his portfolio at most. There's literally dozens of other directors out there who makes way better and more fun movies yet they choose this guy? I wouldn’t call that a misunderstanding. His whole goal is to fit in like one, but he’s still different. I wasn’t a fan of Zack Snyder’s DCEU as a whole, but he did get the character of Superman right at his core. Like Jor-El said, he can embody the best of both worlds, Superman does that. But I can agree that since he grew up on earth, he is one of us essentially. But he’s not a normal everyday person, he just chooses to be.

It's up to the directors to adapt these characters to the screen and the trunks aren't it. Those happy with the fact that it's comic accurate, good for you because they look ridiculous in film adaptions and grounding the character to the world it's creating. It just doesn't make sense and leans too far cosplay to take serious.

@@Tayloribryou haven’t seen the movie yet or even a trailer, so you’re judging a unfinished product.

The thing about Snyder is here are definitively not the definitive versions of these characters. Lois is a terrible reporter, Jimmy gets shot in the face, Pa Kent says let people die, and Superman kills and seems to get over it pretty quick. It’s fine for an elseworlds, but I would like to see you know, Superman on the screen.
