I am currently in school to be a heavy diesel tech and one of my current classes is brakes. We just this past week were working on some slack adjusters and the rest of the system and everything was seized on it. This definitely would make life easy to get those Clevis pins out!

Been doing HD stuff for a couple of years. Probably a good idea to use the press instead of beating the slack adjuster with a mini sledge.

The 41850 and it’s smaller brother “if that’s apart of it” if not no biggie would make my life so much easier! I work on 95% heavy diesel, Semi trucks and tractor trailers. 75% of them still run drum breaks with automatic slack adjuster and a couple manual slacks to! I couldn’t begin to tell ya how much blood, sweat and swear words I have to put in to get stubborn slack clevis pins out on a normal basis! This/those tools would save me so much time and effort it’s not even funny! I Can promise you if I get these almost every other day they would be used for the rest of my career keeping trucks moving this country! Side note great to see Lisle putting out more heavy duty tools!!! Thank you for always keeping guys like me informed!

Great video CP.. I enjoy your review videos and have bought many tools you have reviewed in the last year or so. I took a 10 year break from wrenching. Applied for a job driving truck long story short turned into a private mechanic for a family that owns 6 companies. They got me working on anything from 8n tractors, merc 25 hp outboard to c18 cats in some jones mighty giant hay grinders and e model cats. Keep the videos coming brotha

I didnt know Lisle had the 41850, thank you for the vids regarding heavy duty tools. Lisle is a great company, and in fact I still have one of their wood creepers. Since I am not a yougster, and fight the slack adjuster issue daily, this tool suggestion is perfect. Since our shop is in a remote area, we only see the snappy truck once in a while, so vids on new tools is fantastic. Please keep them comming, and thanks again!

41850 nice press tool, although I could use it working on fire apparatus. I will voluntarily withdraw my name for consideration. I would suggest a newer, younger technician would be very appreciative not having to purchase it themselves. Thank you for taking the time to review and offer to a viewer of your channel.

I work on my own trucks so send it to someone that works on class 8 trucks for a living. Another use for the pin press / cotter pin shear is on anything that uses a yoke with a pin connection like the roll backs that have linksge from both sides of the truck to a centet mounted multiple spool valve body or similar setup with knuckle boom loaders or even on old cable drill rigs ( oil or water well )

First off excellent video I’m glad you brought these tools to my attention because both me and my coworker could use them on an almost daily basis, The Lisle 41850 is something I could’ve used several years ago When I just started out and still could really use very often working in the rock/ coal slag pits on Cat and Komatsu equipment I think that would save a ton of time and money from having to constantly break out the needle scaler and the penetrating oil. But to answer the first part of your question no I don’t deserve that as a freebie, but I definitely would love to have it and I’m going to get one either way lol thanks again CP

Not for consideration, but i work for my county road commission repairing our snow plows and road maintenance equipment up here in Michigan. Having to frequently leave the shop to do repairs on the side of the road, both the 41840 and 41850, would be invaluable to have in order to break through that lovely rust belt corrosion. I believe the tools should go to someone who frequents roadside repairs in the snow. Give those who suffer that nonsense a helping hand.

Man look! I primarily working on suspension on semi trailer and like @123donmaster said, trailers come from rustbelt 9/10 need to cut those clevis. Lisle kick ass for these tools. Half of the price also to what TIGER TOOLS want for these exact style. Doing slack adjuster and whole chamber replacement would be a treat with those!

Pick me!!!!! No in all honesty that is so good of you. I'm nearing the end of my career and it wouldn't get the use. I'd like to think that a younger fella (or lady) would get more use out of them and that's the whole idea of why you are doing this. Good call Mr CP. I'm already thinking that I would like to find a few of the younger generations interested in the trade to pass some of my stuff along. Please I'm not bragging in the slightest and the only reason I know is I went thru the big "D" so I had to get a number put on my tools and box of course and it came in right around 60k. So ya I will be looking into finding some deserving people. I will just have to trust that who ever I choose does the right thing and not just to take to the pawn shop and get penny's on the dollar for the stuff. Sorry get back on track here. Of course I have to throw in a bit of scarcasm. I always thought that you use a chisel for taking axle nuts off. I'm fairly certain that those marks aren't from the machining process 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Finally I'd be happy just to get a couple of those air fresheners. I will pay the shipping lol. I'm obviously kidding and I can't see why I couldn't find them up here. One other finally knowing how you are about made in the USA you definitely have to give the tools to someone in the states. You rock for that and I have a huge respect for that. I do think it would be funny if you gave it to someone in one of those countries that give us such quality tools 😂😂😂. Sorry this went for to long but it had to be said. Ty again for the content you put out and I gotta fly. Concrete trucks gotta be fixed and back on the road. 10-4 there driver 👍 cmon 🇨🇦 🔧

But it says very little information that I didn't already give. Or you can follow the link and read the items description in Amazon and also lots to read there.
