The big thing I want to return as part of ZA is the catching mechanics. Is it even a Legends game if you can’t just hurl the pokeball at a wild pokemon and try for a catch? Legends Arceus was just sublime in this regard.

Tbh I assumed PLA mechanics would be integrated into SV, I was very disappointed when the catching mechanics were a complete downgrade.

​@Borchert97 If I remember correctly, PLA and SV were in production at the same time. So, they had no way of knowing how people would react to the new mechanics. With that in mind, it wouldn't make sense to have the catching mechanic in both games as PLA was the test run. I expect it for Gen 10 tho!

No, you cannot claim the idea of all pokemon getting a mega-like boost while only some have actual forms. Cause that was LITERALLY a thing in Super Mystery Dungeon lmao. All pokemon who didnt have megas could "awaken" and get all around stat buffs

I have not seen one theory about the possibility that the whole ZA map IS the whole wild area and your building the city from scratch on top of it after the war destroyed everything. I have a feeling this is gonna be a lot like the game “Dark Cloud” in a way… Those who have played will know what I’m talking about.

It’s funny you mention that because that game came into my mind while watching this haha

An open world Pokémon game can work, but it is a good thing to unlock gyms by getting badges. You can get high-level Pokémon, but make them ignore the player. Overworld Ability effects also give you a Pokémon interacting sense that the monsters are not too restricted to only doing battles. Interiors are still fun like you are able to immerse into the world, especially with separate Friendly Shops and still have Depart Stores.

Im kinda praying that in August like Soul said, that we do get SOME form of information, preferably a trailer out. I think it would be a perfect time to bring up a bunch of convos about the game, giving the fans enough time to theorize about what the games could be overall, then seeing the trailer, then the fans seeing who was right, who got what right, and whats entirely wrong and whats still on the table. Overall Lumiose COOKED with what would be nice to see in august, and then at worlds soon after. ALSO I WOULD DIE for X&Y like hype season with the coro coro leaks!!!

Been watching since ya'll started, what a year ago? Lol still agree with Lumiose the most 😂 still my favorite and only podcast i listen to, keep it up guys!

There’s literally no shot that PLZA is a late 2025 release. Holiday 2025 will be a 4 year gap between Gen 9 and 10… they haven’t done a 5 year gap since I believe Gen 3

They did say they were gonna spend more time on development after the bad reactions to Gen 9

Ya know, legends za is looking to be similar to yakuza 0 ( I dont know about the others because i haven't gotten to them yet) where the entire game takes place in a city

I kind of just miss the cel shaded style, bring back the outlines! Anyway #ExpensesPaid

Miare City looks like a big city like having 3-4 city blocks in a radius in the Prism Tower stage in SumaBura Special. The Legends Z-A Miare City may have to base the design on its SumaBura appearance.

JobTalk is basically Japan's GlassDoor, and the guys have said basically the people at Game Freak only acted as if they have the experience and confidence in making great Pokémon games but do not.

We know what direction this Legends game is going is for us to focus on the RE-development of Lumiose City. Mega evolution is just for the older players to come back.

My prediction for worlds is megas but they are going to focus on how they have made them more competitive to make the VGC players happy.

All I want to see is the starters and gameplay for Legends Z-A!

The release date for legends ZA would tell us the release date for the new switch, which is why they didn’t tell us yet

We had alpha Pokémon in Arceus so what if we got Omega Pokémon or even Beta

I feel like they are waiting until we get the info on the new switch. They don't want to start advertising for it to soon if the new switch doesn't come out till holiday of next year.

I already have you guys the idea to go over leaks and break them down some months ago

It's night for me & they uploaded at the right time when I've pretty much run out of things to watch on YT & couldn't readily find anything else of my exact liking.

Hopefully we get better megas I maybe in the minority but I didn’t find a mega evolution that I loved from both Hoenn and Kalos. I would appreciate megas that weren’t too edgy in design 😅

If the Legends Z-A graphics will be like Generation 6's, I may check that out. Even Legends: Arceus tried to copy the Generation 4 art style. I also support sex dimorphic characters to justify the "boy or girl" option to keep the characters from looking too much of the same.

I was about to say he seriously got an invite from TPC again like that's somehow not special privilege granted to him once more. I feel aside from Joe, different people should be picked to come over each time, as opposed to choosing the same person repeatedly. Give others a chance to experience something they've never gotten to before.
