Pack a cleaning bucket with (minimum) a bathroom disinfectant, scrub brush and sponge/rag for the car ride over. Of course we all plan to clean our new homes from top to bottom ASAP, but one of the first things we all need is the bathroom. Scrubbing the tub/shower with a disinfectant not only makes you feel better about bathing in a stranger’s bathroom, it prevents exposure to gross communicable diseases like athletes foot.

That's an excellent question. In Utah, they force the agents to use a specific type & it's kind of expensive. I'd just google or amazon search & find the best deal with high reviews. That is an excellent question. Most of these items apply. But, believe it or not, I am currently working a video like this that applies specifically to building. That's what I'm talkin' about. I can say the same thing. Mostly, I don't want to deal with the mess caused by someone breaking into my home.

Another tip: Make sure along with smoke detectors you also have carbon monoxide detectors. Fun fact: (I live with parents still) i believe in 2019 it could have been 2020 but i believe 2019, we had a malfunctioning carbon monoxide detector and my parents told me and my siblings to just get our stuff real quick and go outside and we had fire trucks and stuff come because we didnt know exactly if it was a malfunction of real. We got a new one but carbon monoxide for those who see this and dont know what carbon monoxide is, its known as the silent killer. If there are no carbon monoxide detectors then if carbon monoxide gets released then it could kill you.

It's kind of like going to the grocery store. You've got to park the car, walk acrost the parking lot, grab a cart & then you can start on the list. Thanks for watching.

Great tips to add to my list. Change door locks Change garage code Test/change/ or install fire/carbon monoxide alarms Install security cameras or Ring doorbell camera Install lighting outside your house Paint (if need to) before moving furniture Change flooring (if need to) before moving furniture Buy new dishwasher - you’ll be surprised how dirty those things are Buy new garbage disposal - it is disgusting what you find if they don’t clean it properly Buy new kitchen sink (if possible - it disgusting what people do in the sinks🤮) Replace toilets or toilet seats Pay for a deep house cleaning or do it yourself Replace carpeting (unless they’re new) they collect a lot dust or cat/dog hair Know where electrical panel is Know where water shut-off is Install an alarm in the entire house (doors, windows) if you can afford it Fumigate your house inside & out for bugs Install privacy film on your windows even if you’re installing curtains or shades (will keep house cool/warm) Call roofing companies to come check your roof for a free estimate, same with the H-VAC system, plumbing& electrical to make sure everything is ok (double sure) Change to water heater for tankless water (if you can afford it) to save money in the long run Add a soft water & purification systems Trim any bushes that might be covering a window making it easy target for a criminal to hide behind the bushes and surprise you especially if near the entrance. Clean & paint garage before putting all of your stuff in there that way you don’t have to worry about cleaning it for a while & make sure you buy shelves to organize some of the stuff

I'd rather take the real-life data from video interviews of actual thieves that talk about how they would select homes specifically because they had this sign in the front yard. Again, I'm not saying don't install cameras and a security system, that's a lot more important in deterrence and prosecution than a plastic sign
