As someone who deep cleans before moving and doing a deep clean maintenance once every season, this scratches an itch in my soul! SO SATISFYING! Also, glad I’m not the only one who does stuff like this because people be calling me crazy or a clean freak.

Thank goodness for videos like this. Look I get that it's common sense for a lot of people but I want to thank you bc not everyone has parents to teach them this and not everyone is in a headspace to remember these things. When I was a renter I ALWAYS replaced the toilet seats, first day! I've lived in my house for almost ten years and want to do all this stuff immediately. 😂

Just a small tip with siliconing the tub, to avoid cracking make sure you fill the tub before siliconing because it pulls away from the walls ever so slightly when you fill it with water

my favorite adhd hack is setting a 5 minute timer to do something... by the time ive started, i realize it's not that hard! helps a lot for homework too :)

Girl we can hang! Love your attention to detail when cleaning. For me, every 👏🏾 nook 👏🏾 and 👏🏾 cranny needs to be cleaned and sanitized before I can even take a nap in a new place. Legally, the landlord is responsible for an end of tenancy clean, which is a good place for me to start with my deeper clean. Go girl! ❤️

You keep calling me dirty without calling me dirty ... like wow, I had no idea that all these things needed to be cleaned. I thought I was doing something cleaning the baseboards and walls.

Have you thought about maybe being a cleaning/organizing coach/consultant? You could do online consultations and ppl show what they are up against and you can help them on where to start, what to use to get stains removed, etc.... Sometimes people just need a friendly and encourage voice to help them start on their journey! Your videos already show a lot but sometimes people are really stuck and need that one on one support. Regardless, love the cleaning motivation and I will keep an eye out of those coconut fiber scrubbers!

I've lived in apartments a good portion of my life and I guess too these things for granted. Honestlt, with how much rent has gone up, maintenence should be doing this. Also I suggest disinfectant wipes when staying at hotels/motels. I used to be a maid and they ate just doing a quick wipe down and making the bed with clean sheets. Blankets and coverlet are only changed on a rotation basis or if look dirty. Also pillows are not frequently cleaned either.

You always give me the perfect cleaning motivation! I love watching your videos and getting ideas of how to make cleaning easier for myself💛

As someone who does property management I approve this video! We try very hard to make sure our properties are as clean as possible before people move in, and then hope they take care of it while living in it. We don't always paint the walls... you're right, but only if it's not needed. If it's needed then we do paint, but yes laws vary from state to state on what's required.

At the very least the seat should be remove and thoroughly cleaned & bleached. I have the luck if I replaced it I would get charged for removing their nasty toilet seat! 🤯🤣

YT random gave me your video and I LUV you! Where was this video 6 years ago when I moved!!!??? It is so much easier to do this sort of cleaning before moving your possessions into the space that I now have the plan (when I move) to give myself a storage unit for a month or keep things on the truck for at minimum 4 days, just so I can do these deep cleans on the old and new space. I have a darlin old dear of a landlady who I feel just cannot do all the things so this would be a kind of gift to her. And myself! So soothing seeing someone do all this so perfectly and with minimal tools/chemicals too!

I'm SO EXCITED! Love his wholesome content and I'm so proud that another black creator is using his music. You're the first one I heard use it!

For the bathroom tiles I use the Clorox Toliet Bowl Cleaner and let it sit for atleast 30 mins and it works wonders.

Semi pro tip: Grout comes in different colors it looks like they used a grey color. If you want it white you’ll have to re-grout with a white colored one. LOVEEEEE the video new subscriber! ❤️🫶🏾

hydrogen peroxide and water. i just dried/buffed it with a dry rag.

You can find grout paint if it's discolored to the point it just looks plain nasty. So it would be renter friendly vs regrouting*

Removing the toilet seat is genius. Would love to learn how to clean my stove hood and what i just discovered to be the gross under carriage of my oven. I think that's the broiler but there's no rack so I doubt it. These previous tenants were 🤢

I grew up cleaning like this, we washed walls, cabinets inside & out, clean vents, etc..several times a year. Now i hire people to do it and watch them like a hawk while they clean. Lol, I'm so annoying but i like my space clean clean. Oh make sure to seal the grout after cleaning. It helps to keep water and dirt from penetrating. Tip if you put water on the grout and it immediately absorbs & darkens it needs to be sealed.
