LOL. I did it on my last home. I bet the builder liked getting along list of repairs just a few weeks before they thought they were going to be off the hook.

I've built and sold a lot of homes. I like your info, good to see the other side a bit. I'm in Sacramento CA and working on 1600 condos right now. Takes years getting maps approved to even start in this state. I have about 2.5 left to go. But I'm expecting home prices to keep going up for a lot of years to come. Likely 15 more. So the market will be there. All of American housing will do that. You sound like a great agent. If I were buying in your area I would use you.

When is it safe to give my apartment complex their 60 day move out notice? Set to close on April 15 but it is a new build and not complete yet and what if closing gets pushed out? We are pre-qualified.

If you give yourself a two week buffer from the time the builder gives you a closing date, that should be safe.

Thanks for watching & for reaching out to me. Make sure you get a 4-way meeting with the builder & don't be afraid to ask questions at this meeting. I would also recommend a home inspection at the end when the home is nearing completion. Be sure to ask the builder when you should schedule the inspector. That my friend is a very interesting question. You can paint your home immediately upon moving in. A lot of people do it. Are you getting ready to close on a new home?
