Dude, what I’m really excited about is I live in Louisiana we have crawfish and rice fields I literally farm rice in real life and I’m so excited to finally be able to float the field and plant rice in farming Sim

It would be awesome if they could add Crawfish to the rice fields like we have in SE Louisiana. Crawfish in the summer. Rice in what supposed to be winter here (It only gets cold a few days in January.)

That crop did not look like cabbage, more like spinach to me. As they already confirmed that, makes more sense. The game looks good and I have we get a bit more in the upcoming days. You guys enjoy!

The squares along the roadside looks the same size, I was hoping for smaller squares for painting in GE

Those lights coming through the trees are called god rays. You don't need fog to see them. It just makes them pop that much more.

Fog helps a lot, otherwise you are only limited by dust or other things floating in the air to reflect them.

Agreed! Calling this a preview is laughable. We knew from the trailer that there will be fog. So fog and improved lighting are really all we learned from most of this video. Can't help but notice that the railroad crossing is blinking red with the gates up and no train in sight. Seems like a pretty basic thing to overlook in a preview that's supposed to show off new features. Really underwhelming.

What about the dynamic weather effects? They didn't show it. Hopefully they show it during FarmCon. Pls say there is different types of weather that can affect crops. #1 feature I want to see is flooded fields and windstorms that can knock down trees and crops.

With such a focus on water, I wonder if fisheries will make an appearance? 🤔

There is ground deformation if you look closely at 25:51 under tractor stairs, or in front of the rear tire... as well as at 26:16 if you slow down video to 0.5 look little in front of the rear tire... ground deforms...

One thing I did notice was that Giants software did not add an anti-collision to the camera. At 28:20 the camera bumps over the boat and the shed

one thing everyone is missing about GPS, i think at 20:47 the screens in the combine are on standby waiting for GPS, interactive screens? as well as the camera tilts away to almost distract maybe?

​@@Cheese_burgergaming my xbox stutters like crazy playing fs22 with just barely enough machines to run a half-realism dairy cattle farm. If I go full realism amount of machines it stutters like Bobby Boucher(the waterboy) so if it's not much different than fs22 then it'll most likely still lag as OP said.

I hope they do justice to the difference between American and Asian rice farms if not this will be a major failure for your America rice farms such as me

@@dootthedooter I understand that’s what makes me unhappy we don’t dry rice farm in America we flood fields but use the same regular drills and combines as you flood the field after the rice germinates and is about 3 inches tall you also use levees and levee gates but none of this is going to be represented because they never speak to the people that do this kind of work

I'm gonna miss it if it's not added to FS25 at some point. Erlengrat with fog, storms etc would be fantastic.

This might be super silly and incredibly unimportant but I seriously hope with an American base game map comes more American style pieces of equipment i.e. cars/trucks, horse trailers, etc. again, seems super small but it would be nice.

I really hope they make the game a bit more realistic and less of a cosy casual game, at least have the option - compaction (pumps and hoses DLC was completely pointless fluff without compaction, give a reason to have auger wagons), different soil types need different cultivation techniques, animal movement between pastures and better animals, rather than just a menu with some cosmetic cows. But they won't.

so much fog, reminds me of Far Harbor. STOKED for FS25 tho omg!! Moar velociraptors!

yes it looks a bit better but its still looks like fs 22. The machines look phenomanal but real farming is about the weather and ground too, and how they all interact with each other. That part isn't even close to being simulated yet in this game. Till that is, it's just a good looking farm machinery simulator.

8:45 yep, that is thìcker wheat, and what you'd hear some wheat farmers in Australia call "banana" wheat because the thick heads look like bananas. I'm also noticing that the wheat looks a little less 2d than fs22 and more life-like. However, it kind of disappoints me that they dont truly come up in proper rows like they would from real grain seeders. At least, not from what the footage reveals anyway

Scenery looks better. I noticed the reel on the combine header is actually pushing crop into the cutter bar. More realistic looking.

Fog looks good but maybe a little too much sometimes though. Hoping we can adjust it. Also, sorry DJ but I can't support you this game by buying from the Giants site. I did on 22 but regret it because of the way it is implemented. Maybe if they sold Steam keys too or made the DLC downloads automatic with the launcher because it should know that I have the season passes because of the key I used, or at least US servers, downloads are just way to slow. Sometimes an hour for a couple hundred MB.

Maybe more to do with the in cab monitors since theres a place holder in the new Holland

It would be cool If you overfilled the field the water would spill into other fields and flood other parts of the map or flowed into streams

I really hope somone makes a mod that allows you to farm crawfish in your rice fields

@@zachward9242 that's what i noticed too! But looking back a few times, i think there is some delay in the widget. It is showing the field next to it (soybeans) and switches to rice later. So the rice fields is actually shown as rice.
