    Haha! I cannot stand the one or two brain cell having AI workers doing reverse donuts in the middle of my field while I’m out working on something else. But maybe one day I might miss it….. or not

    Get the front or rear windrow tractor attachment and you can already bale with a worker. It even expands up to 20M

    @@myklaaron7879 That is very limited tho. With courseplay. You can use a regular windrower and then use a bailer on the same route. And then you get a tractor with a bale collector to pick up all the bales. But i guess courseplay will only improve upon this system anyways. So for pc, it will happen one way or another. But would be nice for consol players aswell to be able to do this

    @@glowpipe i agree. I've never played pc version and try not to watch any vids of it 😅. I just appreciate the work the modders have done to keep the game relevant for us on the ancient last gen consoles. And that windrow system being an amazing addition so I can bale straw as I combine the fields. The new GPS and AI system seems like it is a step in the right direction. My biggest hope is 4x maps since I will now finally sink the $600 bucks in the newer system and game. I've been needing to do this anyway since NCAA football came out. I'm just broke AF🤡

    As a person that has spent over 30 days doing silage bales in fs22, my goodness does that new audio sound so much better. Hopefully there will be different audio to choose from with the gps though because that beeping is very aggressive, unlike gps mod which seems less intrusive. We appreciate your efforts Farmer Cop.

    No interface which means it's pretty limited. You cant use AI to unload harvesters and drop off since you cant plot a course like courseplay. =\ I guess modders will have to come in again to fill the gap which will leave out consoles again. It is a nice improvement but seems to fall short of courseplay's ability which is unfortunate. you would think fs25 would be able to fully implement something that's a mod in 19, 22 etc. Unless they just haven;t showcased this ability yet and im wrong. @FarmerCop if your at farmcon can you try to get more info on this if you ca nask questions?

    it's not a problem of ability, but will. in the interview he says that "FS22 mods implemented a very complicated solution". i think they just wanted to dumb down the feature

    @@nemrody7828 its also the lack of input on a console , you have a set number of options so they had to do a one size fits all version. But with the way silicon is going that won't last long ram quantity is getting good, so a wider spread for peripherals should follow.

    Absolutely, rattles my cage too. The JD base tractor on the baler did though, so it will be for some models but not Quicke, just like FS22.

    They are learning from the modders like he said in the last video.. kinda fun. Now I wonder about the characters they are putting in to the game giving the information. For now this is a real upgrade to FS !!!

    FS still gets overwhelming if your farm gets very big. BGA, Animal Husbandry, farming, I wish they could take on more advanced tasks and help out with more than just fields.

    @@lukasjanssens9532 I get where you are coming from, didn't think about it from that angle. But that is also not what I want. Without Courseplay etc it just takes soooo much longer if you have to load, unload and move everything yourself. Definately still want to farm, just need a little more help.

    My question about Swathing is it will have any sort of benefit to do for certain crops as opposed to just using a harvester right away. For example i know Canola you need to cut and swath so that it dries and then it can be threshed by a combine later. So will certain crops gets a yield bonus like Canola if you decide to swath it first?

    Great to see GPS and the improved AI features a bit more, definitely looks like a massive improvement over FS22! Granted I know it's not the same level of complexity and customisability as the GPS and CoursePlay mods but then again it's not supposed to be is it, it's supposed to be a basegame feature that's relatively easy to use and works well on console and PC for everyone to use or not use. It also sounds like it's been designed with modders in mind too, map makers aren't required to add in custom field information specifically for the AI system and hopefully it'll be a great base to build on for more in-depth versions of GPS and CoursePlay mods with may even be allowed on console due to the basegame scripting already being there!

    I still think course play is going to have it's place but the ai stuff is cool at least. Really hope they can get custom headland amounts and some options in at launch. It's good that it's easy to use but I personally like all the options course play gives so would be nice to see both

    FS25 looks like they took all the good mods from FS22 and sprinkled some amazing graphics and animations(that rice planter *chefs kiss*). Very nice.

    As a real farmer who also plays FS22, I am so ecstatic that the ai has been improved and so happy I'll finally have GPS (console player). But i imagine it will always start on the headlands and not finish on them when cultivating, drilling ect but a massive step in the right direction

    One of the big reasons I use CP in FS17 - FS22, is sooner later the AI gets a mind of its own, leaves the field it's own and goes to a field next to it, or even across a road, and destroys your crop. CP does not do this. We'll see if the 25's AI has become more intelligent and stays put on the correct field.

    Looks like it, but if you can't modify whats beeing generated, CP still have much more advantages (beside baling, wheel loader driver, automatic unloading and all that stuff). But its a cool nice step they did, will see how well it is actually working.

    Every time in like oh good they have a us version of the cr11 with duals and then you see the big eu warning signs on the auger and it's like yeah nope still classic base game stuff.... Not the focus or that important but would be nice to see proper us and EU versions of more equipment

    a disturbs me that the driver doesent have her/his hands on the steering wheel when driving in cockpit view. Love the consumables although i would like a better animation when they get put on the baler, not just flyt in there :D im so looking forward to the new AI, that makes it so we done have to have compeletely square fields anymore :D !!! keep up the good updates Farmer cop!!

    I'm loving all this so far. I wonder though will the AI be able to unload combines now and dump at the silo. If i were to guess, I would say no. All great stuff so far though. Nice job FC.

    And here I was hoping they would finally update and make the swath texture more 3D feeling and a little more randomized. I will say, as someone who only plays FS as a solo, having useful AI will be a nice change.

    I know that modern rice fields with GPS grading equipment dont need contour dikes, however they still need a perimeter dike and possibly an outside flume ditch.

    Refilling bale net and bale wrap is cool, have never seen that on console before. JD baler in the base game also nice. Noticed again no connection hoses on quicke loading forks though, which i just dont understand, bit disappointed with that.

    Not fond of not being able to custumize the gps options like change the witdh of the equipment we using.. save tracks.. i usually use the combine header width to bale per example..

    I like everything I see so far and they do have lots more to come I just hope the ground deformation is good and I also and hoping they add realistic damage bent fenders dents dings as well as brake downs like flat tire hydraulic hoses etc doesn't need to be like car mechanics sin but maybe kinda like gold rush the game

    The new AI feature looks more like real life GPS that the GPS they have. We first do are perimeter then it maps the field size and since it already knows your implement size it will create AB lines similar to how the AI in the game works.

    I really hope that they get the selectable number of headlands patched in because and this is something that I've noticed a lot with course play is that sometimes what headlin isn't enough and it will drive into trees when trying to make its turn. Especially if you're using something larger like the air carts or a modded in piece of equipment like the John near DB120 where it's so wide you have to make a large turn. In previous versions, using both the built-in helper and cp I've had it find the most creative ways to get stuck on trees, fence posts and power poles.

    When he's looking at the ready to harvest rice field it says Soybeans and when looking at the long grain rice it says Wheat. But these might be just placeholder and I'm sure that will get corrected.

    Yet I wonder. How would the AI driver actually handle the roadnetworks in modded maps. Does the drivers really try to drive or just give up. Also they should take the vehicle in consideration. A giant truck should prefer huge roads. Love it so far though.

    The line generation must take into account the width of the header/tool being used. Therefore I don’t see why the ai couldn’t use a windrower or bailer using the same path.

    hey thanks for the videos, luv them, very helpful. Anyway I was thinking and I have NOT watched all your videos and probably have very little knowledge of what's up in Farmsim "news" but Im always thinking of how to improve almost everything always, like not just farming video games but everything on the planet and some items not currently on this planet..... Anyway sorry for the long message. I was thinking it would be nice if I could use my horses for something other than just riding them. Wouldn't it be cool if "we" could by old equipment to harness the horses and work fields with them or pull wagons with them and many other "things" I dont know what power you have to influence the creators but its just a thought I had.     My family farms peanuts and cotton so I wanna see a peanut crop and peanut equipment because the equipment for peanuts are different just like cotton and rice and other crops

    So why didn't the mower cut the grass that wasn't in the field, Is that something new to the FS25 is it like a settings thing, or was it because the worker was driving?

    I believe that the gps calculates the path by the edge of the field. I am sure you could mow outside the field boundaries.

    I’m not trying to be pessimistic about the game, but I am genuinely curious. Why would a farmer go through the hassle of windrowing their harvest just to run back through it again with a swath pickup?

    So, don't we really need more in-game worker support for logistics? Emptying combine and hauling material (to silo/productions)? I guess that's a niche that Courseplay can fill, but with CP and in-game workers, I spend a lot of time playing "Grain Cart Simulator" or "Trucking Simulator", not doing the farming.
