Sorry for me not being able to be very elaborate, but I will say that the coolest “Petrolicious” video of a guy with a tribute Ford Thunderbolt. He loves the car so much he wanted it to appear the way he wanted and was certainly a top notch to each detail. I think of Singer and their “best version of a 911” idea. I have always known there’d be a little different market that Mustang isn’t tapping and I am hopeful to show the new look and love for these cars as a whole. Sounds ambitious but I’ve ran a handful of million $ businesses, I’m positive I’ve got the space and crew to chase a dream. What can be done to turn any SN95 and New Lives to have a turn key New Edge with whichever Engine for straight line and Corner Carvers. I’m a Porsche guy, but love everything, Gave New Edge some real thought and a very ambitious build of a Mach 1 is beginning, we’ll do braking test, 1/4, 1/8th mile to find what needs to be built to make this a more raw and lighter 2020 model GT. Obviously using the same tech and getting some things down we can save these cars before you can’t get a V6 body!!

@@_baller doesn't matter back in the days most v8s were very torque heavy and rwd. Most modern v6s are fwd or awd so there's a less chance to fishtail which is how most of these cars are getting destroyed because most owners think it's a wise idea to floor a light rwd car that's torque heavy and once they lose control they continue to floor it instead of taking their foot of the gas pedal which usually ends into a car getting totaled. For example a v6 350z are one of the most expensive cars to put insurance on because of teens getting them for their first cars parents thinking it's a good idea because it's a 6 cylinder but the whole entire factor implements again. I like the Zinc Yellow cars too. It's so sad to see these beautiful cars lost for stupid reasons. For true mustang lovers it feels like nails on a chalk board every time we see one go down to poor driving or for a simple profit in parting it out. It's sad for any car, but especially for the really limited ones such as the Mach 1s and Cobras. These cars can be a thrill and a joy to own and drive but you have to learn control and above all (especially with Terminators), you have to respect the power it has or you will lose the car and perhaps your life too. Great video Justin!

New Edge Mustangs are getting into those tweener years where they aren't classics and aren't modern. The 1980's and early to mid 90s were like that for the original Mustangs. I remember a running, faded paint, non shaker 1970 BOSS 302 for sale in a bowling alley parking lot for $3500 dollars circa 1990. I almost bought a 1970 Mach 1 with a 2BBL 351 Cleveland and 4-Speed in 1994. It was for sale for $3200 I have no idea if New Edge will ever climb in value like the old ones did since the old ones had 15 years of less interesting slower models after them. Mustangs after the New Edge just kept getting faster and better all around. But the special New Edges like my Mach 1 with their 4 valve engines and Brembo brakes still perform well by today's standards.

There won't be any "original classic cars" anymore. Got an 03 new edge I'm saving. Nothing special, hell she wasn't even a GT. Picked her up for $250 dollars still running, was going to be junked that day if they couldn't sell it. It's my first big project but it's not leaving my warehouse till it's finished. I just ordered a gen 2 coyote block to remachine and begin the blue printing process to give it a new 8 cylinder heart. It might not be anything close to stock internally when it's done, but it'll be around for a long time and carving corners as long it is.

Man very well put together video. It is very sad to see some of these cars and their stories. I get the cars that are totalled and have some good parts on them to sell. I'll use the bullitts for example, since the body parts are not reproduced yet people are looking for the mudflaps etc to finish one. But these people just parting out because of a blown engine is a sin. What really bothers me is how these cars got trashed to begin with! I think of people that would love and cherish a nice stang but maybe can't afford one and then you have a guy that can afford one and doesn't care about it and destroys it. We are into the tail end of the new edge saturation out there for sure. 20 years old now for some is old and unfortunately the more days that go by less will be seen and values will rise because of lower numbers. I really think that history will show the importance of our cars when all the coyote s550 hype starts to taper of. Alot of people get hung up on miles and for good reason but from what I've seen over the years is that lower miles doesn't always equate to a better car if it was abused and not really loved by a true car guy. I feel very Blessed that I was able to find a bullitt when I did and for the price I paid. Sorry for the long reply but really great topic 👍👍,keep it up

Some people just can't handle a V8 in a light weight vehicle. I've been driving my 96 Firebird formula with a 350 since I was 16 and I never crashed it. Be smart with your money people

Great video. Sold my ‘04 Screaming Yellow Mach 8 years ago and want her back. Would love to get another one, either yellow or white. To me the new edge cars are the last ones that are still light weight and not so refined that you can’t feel anything. Awesome cars that will only be sought after much more as time goes on.

... "Everything is fixable with loads of money and time 😂... plus "Talent, Training and tools" .Trying to install a Coyote engine, drive train - correctly- in an early mustang is not that hard....just don't try it with by taking short-cuts. I have a friend who is a 90% "Wonder" when it comes to swaps and projects. Does a wonderful job, when it comes putting a project together - but he just never can quite "finish" making it reliable, drive-able or repairable. His tools of choice are a welder... and soldering gun.

i have a black 2001 mustang gt convertible that i absolutely love. it has about 153k on it and its all stock except for a cold air intake. I absolutely love it so much, i could never get rid of it. I love cruising with the top down. Once i graduate college and get on my feet, i plan on swapping it with a coyote when the engine goes. The goal is to own a terminator one day for sure, but i will never get rid of this car ever.

On the plus side of parting out cars: those of us that DO want to keep ours nice have a supply of parts. I have an '01 cobra with what amounts to an irreplaceable front bumper as ford doesn't make them, and nobody decided to produce an aftermarket copy. Were I to get into a minor fender bender, finding one off another car would be my only hope of maintaining the styling.

I've had my 04 Mach for almost 8 years now and it's the only Mustang I'll ever own. I think all the other body styles are ugly, especially the new ones.

My 03 zink yellow mach 1 was a hell of a find. 2 owner 128k miles runs and drives great. I'm 36 now so I like to cruse aggressive lol. It's such a head turner. I love seeing people in my rear view at stop lights Lip Mach1 and point to my car. I plan on doing a paint correction it has rock chips and such. Not even a month with it and put 1k miles on her. Looks so cool parked in the garage with my Area51 Maverick.

I'm 19 and recently bought a 1999 Cobra. Found it behind a barn, sat for about 3-4 years. Bought it, made it run again over a weekend and rediagnosed it. Currently rebuilding the Teksid block, and turns out it had forged rods and pistons
