Inn South Africa we also do deep ripping. Generally we will put one shank going more shallow right in front of the deeper tilling one. 1ST 400 mm 2ND 600mm. This prevents upwart compaction - such a thing is possible here and the implement also require less power.

Keep doing what you do! Not many men at all here in america can do what you do. They know nothing about farming and argiculture. Nothing about keeping and caring for livestock. They know nothing about farming equipment or how to fix things and mantain them to keep them running. Sometimes I feel like chashing my dream of being a homesteader and having my own small family farm, means I'll be doing it alone my whole life. Because not many men enjoy this type of life or even want to do it to begin with. It is very hard work, and not for everyone. However, the rewards are worth the effort. If only there were more people who enjoyed/lived this lifestyle, perhaps it wouldn't be so hard to meet someone new who 😂
