NEW Campark TC22 Solar Trail Camera Catches INCREDIBLE Footage
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Here is the brand new Campark TC22 Solar trail camera. The first trail camera I have had which requires ZERO dry batteries! Let me show you the product, run through the specs and finish with incredible footage as we use it to do an experiment in the woods to see if the animals prefer peanut butter or fruit. This SERIOUSLY is an unbelievable trail camera!

Thanks for that review! Looks like a capable camera. It seems to have the exact same performance specs as my two TC06's. I have done 2 different mods with mine, powering by external batteries. I used a hobby box, and battery holders to use 10 of those EBL rechargeables, with one set of 5 AA's in series, another set of 5 AA's in series, and then the two sets of 5 in parallel. That gave me actual 6 volts (1.2 volts per battery X 5), with twice the AH of one set individually. Then I switched to a 12 volt 12 AH battery, with a 12 volt to 6 volt converter, as the TC06 runs on 6 volts. One of the TC06's is used nightly for a time lapse, which runs from 6:30 PM to 7:30 AM the next morning, on a 5 second start (which gives 9700+ images overnight). I have to recharge the battery only about once a week even with that heavy use. Of course, the down side is an external battery in a plastic ammo container and a chord to the camera, but as I only use it in my back yard, that is acceptable. There is a whole other life existence going on out there overnight I never realized before. Sometimes I'll stick a Battery Tender inside the ammo box connected to the battery, and plug that into an electrical outlet outside, and that way it runs continuously with no maintenance required. I wonder if I could use a 12 volt solar panel to do the same thing maybe? Thanks again for an awesome review!

That's all a little deep to me but the TC06 was my favourite trail cam until this one. The sound on this is way better and having zero batteries makes this a clear winner. Thank you so much for your comment.
Yep another great video Dan best regards Martin.

You could get a lot worse.
I believe the internal battery in the TC22 is 2x 18650 for a total of 4400mAh, and not 2x4400mAh as suggested. This would make it the same as the Ceyomur CY95 which also has the option of 4xAA as backup. Solar is a game changer but now we're into the Autumn in the UK it will be interesting to see how they fare.
Wow that trail cam is just amazing those images are just so clear in the day and night view. The fact that you don't need to buy batteries is a real game changer. Great review Dan you captured some really good footage with that camera.

Nice video Dan I tried the cyomur cy50 trail cam first time last night to see what was digging up the mother in laws flowers at night and we caught nice pics of the local fox was the culprit so for 35 pound cam well impressed

Just came across your channel, Dan and mightily impressed. I've now subscribed. Unfortunately, following your recommendations, my bank balance is now over £200 lighter after purchasing 2 cameras. Don't know if I can afford to keep watching 🥴😄

Hi Dan. Can you set a built in timer function as my old trial cam has this feature. Set for 7pm to 7am and it saves on batteries. Regards Rich :-)

I'm pretty sure it does. I think most do nowadays.
Large variance in prices has me worried some might be cheap copies. There doesn't seem to be any branding on the casing mould on any of them. I'm looking forward to getting one.

Would you go for this tc22 or the tc07? Which one is the best from campark? Thankyou very much

Hi Dan, I've just bought this camera and I'm looking for a bit of help with setup, could you tell me how to setup the Starlight night vision, I've checked all the camera menu's and the app (which was easy to connect with) but can't see it anywhere, if you can advise I'd be very grateful, cheers, Al.
@DesperateDanDiscovers

You don't have to set it up. It's automatic. When you get your clips off, if the clip was taken in starlight it will say starlight at the bottom.

Why did you say it will last a year? Also, for an environment with woods and trees, do you recommend this or one with batteries and solar?
@DesperateDanDiscovers
11 ай бұрын
The instructions say with daily sun the solar panel will keep the lithium batteries topped up for a year.
@DesperateDanDiscovers

I'd recommend both. It's too soon to say which is my favourite but this will definitely pay for itself in the batteries you will save.
