I love the picture and sound quality.

DAN the antenna is so it can communicate with your phone when your setting up the camera via your phone. The picture quality was really good.

I know it is, but other trail cams don't require an antenna.

Making a diffuser and taping it over the led panels might help with the brightness at close range.

Wifi and Bluetooth might benefit from the antenna, also people might think it's a cellular camera and are less likely to mess with it. Night time lighting looks good. My Camparks could use a diffuser being they're on the bright side.

If you use rechargeable batteries the company makes a small solar panel to charge the batteries during the day, that most likely how you can get so many months of continuous use out of this trail cam.

Now that will eat whatever you put out !
