Perfect timing!!!! I’ve been trying to figure out what pads I needed for my 2020 WRX! And I’m glad you showed how to put them on Brembo brakes!

Cody, first off I have to tell you, you are the best teacher on KZread when it comes to showing your viewers how to install any kind of mod to the WRX. I am an older dude who is just purchased a 2022 WRX and I have come to rely on you… you have a gift as the great explainer, you just make things so understandable. Me and my son have you videos on when we are making the mods you teach. You are these best thing that ever happened to IRR and I will sorely miss you. Great video and great rotor choice. With all your track time you might want to check on ur brembo dust boots. I’m sure they are torched/cracked from the brake heat. You most likely want to replace them. I’ve used the supposed high temp dust boots and had almost the same result as the OEM. Either way u don’t want the brake dust to get inside and put ur pistons. It will eventually cause a brake fluid leak if you don’t catch it quick. Keep up the content.

Will definitely have to look at those. They didn't look to be in the best shape. But I didn't have the time to mess with them at the moment.

Does the 2020 series.white WRX also have the 08-17 Brembo brakes?

i was thinking of buying gold brembos for my 2017 wrx but i know there's some extra modding to do for the rears because the dust shield gets in the way. i'm not sure if i'm ready for that lol

Any update on this stuff? DBA rotors and what pads you been used?

I know I said welcome back home already but welcome back home again man we gotta get together and cruise man I gotta get my brakes done as well I’ve had the stock pads and rotors for 55k very surprised how long they lasted Becuase I have to drive to Frederick 5 days a week for work as well anyway man great video hope we can get together after you get settled in man and cruise or hit a car meet or something

Where can I buy Brembo brakes for my 2022 wrx?

How come back to Pennsylvania

I replaced mine at 58k miles with dba rotors and pads.

Brakes are def on my to do list for the VB. Trying to decide if I want to wait for a good full swap option to be tested out or just go with pads and rotors for now.

I think the 4 piston brembos swap right on but I could be wrong. Grimmspeed did that on their VB!

Hope all the best, safe travels! Can't wait to see your new content. What does it take to swap stock 15-21 WRX brakes for Brembo from set current or last gen STI? Do I need special adapters, for calipers? Or is the knuckle are for WRX/STI, and it's a direct bolt on?

Thank you! And the brembo swap if you do the ones I have from the 08-17 sti it's a direct bolt on swap you'll need to change out the bolts to the correct thread for the brembo I think it goes from a 1.25 to a 1.5.

Hey I wouldn't complain about that one! Haha I wasn't too easy on my first set of brakes. Lots of fun backroad runs and then when I lived in Florida it was a lot of stupid people braking at random times for no reason and I was always having to brake lol
