I love my tractor noises.
Tried this on my 2020 Subaru Impreza and the check engine light turns on and the eyesight/lane assist shuts off. Subaru really wants me to listen to the incessant dinging.
What did you do with the old transmission? I would have give you some $$ for it if you were closer (I'm out west). I'd like to disassemble it and see what actually broke. If mine breaks, I'll do just that... just replace whatever broke rather than spend $3k+ replacing it.

Are you going to do a full exhaust system? Catback and dp? Personally I recommend the MBRP catback, sounds so good.
Not sure yet. I'd like a dp but don't feel like riding around with a constant CEL lol

i always thought it was timing chain chatter but apparently its the injectors.
I thought I was the only one that thought that 😅 I feel like when you get tuned it gets way more noisy

I have lots of pulley noise, especially from the AC compressor. The tick is supposedly from injectors and definitely increased after replacing the dogbone mount under the intercooler.
I can hear from my cabin everytime my ac pulley cuts in and out. And yeah injectors are typically sounds haha

Those look great, esp with the black. One thing I love on my wrx are the adaptive headlights. If it wasn't for that feature I probably would have replaced them.
Where did you get your front bumper and wide body kit???
The front bumper is factory, the body kit is the s209 flare kit.
Why would you have your sea lights on while your parked? Are you parked in the sea?

OMG, been waiting for a great headlight replacement for my '20 WRX subi, this is awesome. I'm pretty average at wiring but I think I can do it if I study this another 20X :-), great video for us pre '22 WRX owners.

Man this makes me sad. Family came first and had to get rid of my bagged va Wrx. Made customer flow and dance tail lights headlights was my baby now drive a Malibu lol. I’m actually looking at compare for another one

Great video my dude. I've got all the stuff to do this sitting at home and ready to go on. Just wanted to finish my walnut blasting and get the OK from my tuner before throwing it on. I'll definitely be referencing this video again for my install. Also, this is the most concise video I've seen yet when demonstrating the fuel pump installation. Everyone who makes a video on it is stumbling around trying to figure it out and the video ends up being 40ish minutes long.

Transmission on thus car blew so I swapped it with STI drivetrain and the carbon driveshaft couldn't swap over. But it held up great the whole time I had it.
Fa24 sounds grown up, but that fa20 turbo noises are incredible.
Hell yea, that’s a really nice conservative tune, what ethanol content does he have you running? And finally seeing the new flex kit was an awesome site, Im on my second flex kit due to the bad previous versions and I didn’t think we would ever see a new one, so that makes things less stressful going forward 😅
He wanted me on full E85 but I ran into issues with fuel pressure fluctuations so we're troubleshooting now, and I'll update when we get it sorted out

Why did you change the regulator ?
My Tuner asked me to. Basically the stock regulator limits the new pump, and the new pump can't flow as much as it's supposed to, so the new regulator helps with that.
Does that mean I should have changed mines? Tuner of mine didn’t say anything about it. I got the 2016 wrx 2.0
Put UEL headers on my VB. Best choice I've made so far. Running a MBRP catback along with it. Still need a jpipe though
How are the uel treating you?
@@jperez2396 smoothed the powerband out a bit. Made it a little more predictable. Response when beyond the boost threshold is very good and ofc the car no longer sounds like a generic turbo 4 banger. I have an exhaust clip on my channel if you're interested in that.

Changing the fuel pump on the 2015+ WRX and STI was the one mod I hated doing.
Why? I did mine on my STI and it was no more difficult than my old DSM or EVO. Start to finish was maybe 1.5-2hrs.
@@totaleclipse05 never said it was hard, was just annoying compared to every other vehicle I've owned.
@@FunTimeWithSouls I think the most annoying one for me was on an SRT-4. You have to drop the whole gas tank down to change it out.
Now you just need the Nostrum high pressure fuel pump!
you don’t really need that tbh, not until you upgrade your turbo at least. the power gains for anything over e60 on stock turbo would be minimal.
Nice this was awesome. So full e85 and runs fine with the stock high pressure fuel pump? I heard this kit works with the factory low pressure pump as well. I wonder how long the stock pumps would last.
Not sure. I used to hear you couldn't go over E60. But my tuner said it was only like that on the 2015 and was changed to a different hpfp on the 16+. I'll probably keep it around e50-e60 just to be on the safe side. Max power is usually at 60% anyway so adding more ethanol probably doesn't add much besides convenience at the pump. My first tank of full E85 I got 18mpg. Filled up to around E60 and I'm getting 27 now and feel no power difference.
