Allen, try a speed controller that is equipped with a cooling fan and is of triple capacity of your pump running amperage. I build them using either a 555 or 556 chip.

I love all of your content sir. I have been looking for a video on using a bucket and hose to siphon water I guess. The plan is to run a sluice like utahavalanch, without a motor. I know I can accomplish it on the side tributaries, but the snake river in areas appears to move fairly slowly. And I know a lot of hobby miners would love a tutorial on beating the no motorized equipment laws

That solid sluice looks nice and stout! Funny about the speed controllers. One thing that is nice about not having those controllers is that one less part to worry about lol. Seems like if someone wants a speed controller they can get one off of amazon and add it to the sluice later on.

@@alanrobertson2510 Well I was wondering if all the leveling bolts were removed it it would fit one side into another. Well that's ok because you can take it in separate pieces.Well since I can't buy the new system , maybe you could send me an out of date bucket system. you are the Bucket Master. LOL You are a genius

Alan, so how small do ya think ya can make a workable sluice? I'm betting on you coming up with a pocket sized one, eight inches long! Because of your super mats, you shouldn't need much more than a sluice that is 3" x 8" or 3" x 6" with legs!
