    Looks great Alan! I like how it has features of different pans, but is definitely it's own pan. You took the best parts and here is is assembled.

    Wicked job , Alan. Love your brain. Always grinding out new ideas. My trommel was based on your " clay busting bucket trommel" , it had a massive test on the weekend, on some of the hardest material I have ever run. Passed with flying colours! Thanks again for your brilliant ideas. Cheers Andy Poverty prospecting Australia 🙃

    Try making a drop center pan and don't let the silicone get into the drop part. Then the bigger stuff should stay put too.

    I like the idea and it looks like it would be great as a tester pan in areas where you suspect fine to flour gold. But of course I want to catch the pickers to nuggets too.

    Alan, Could you make a wider diameter pan using the Garrett Super Sluice as a template so one could marry the pan with a classifier?

  • @alanrobertson2510

    @alanrobertson2510

    Ай бұрын

    That is the problem with 3D printing, This is about the max I can go. I guess I might have to make a classifier for the pan.

    @@alanrobertson2510 Alan, I think the hobby gold pan is a pretty slick design and I figured there must be some 3D printing limitations dictating how wide a pan one can print. It might look a little okie, but do you think one could silicone in pieces of your mats on the riffles of a larger diameter pan like a Garrett Super Sluice?

  • @alanrobertson2510

    @alanrobertson2510

    You could give it a try and see. Just put some silicone on the riffles

    What a great concept. So this is just like Daves pan? or it is Daves pan? That concept would work great for the flour gold we have in Alberta. Thanks for sharing, cheers, Kelly
