Regen helps in maintaining good range but for sudden/emergency brake we need friction braking

Better than OLA

The same feature is there in Hero Xoom 110. If you release the throttle then the brakes automatically engages. Infact if you are going downhill and if you release throttle the scooter wont accelerate but rather there is som kind of brakes automatically applied.

Vida has regen but not as strong

this new breaking system is not new on electric scooter , its already their is ola electric scooter

No 😮 Ola has reverse throttle for reversing, not for regenerative braking 😅

@@jjohnjawaharola has regen. Its good enough. If you put settings to high you can come to stop in signals. Athers version wont regen with this new tech but will have more reduction in speed compared to ola. I think ather is redirecting current to motor field coils and reversing rmf to reduce speed.

the difference being regen on ola starts from 90% and not 100% but this one from 100%

Instead of showing Scooty with 1.89L I buy ICE with 1L and will give remaining 89k to a well known person for minimum 1.5Rs interest. By that every month I get 1400 interest. I use that interest amount for my scooty Fuel. I don't know Ather have mind or not.....

I think the magic twist"option not good for riders. Because there is chance a rider fell down.if Accidentally leave the throttle.

It's been 8 days for me to be a owner of ather 450x but considerably this feature is not at all worthy to invest 40k more on a scooter practically. So future ather owners think thrice. Maintain your budget. Thik wise. Happy ather journey.

My gripe with Ather is the design. I just cant bring mysejf to buy this naked thing. 😅

This is not new braking system, ola had regen braking since the first day! Even the normal varient of ola the ola s1 had 95 kmph speed leave alone the deadly 117 of ola s1 pro! S1 Pro Gen 1 had 2.9 0-40 the gen 2 has 2.6 s

@@Spontango65 usse scooter stop nahi hota hai. It doesn't replace physical brakes at all. Throttle bahot hard hai reverse twist karna. Ola me bahot natural feel hai aur strong hai. Don't use brakes at all.

Nothing special in it I am using my scooter 450x for more than 1 year I am happy but this special edition is vaste of money and colour is also not good as per my taste very very expensive 459x is the best and value for money 🤑
