It makes sense that as powerful and luxurious it may be, it won’t make sense to consider it as an option for ownership if the infotainment is dated knowing that it has competitors that would give the complete package. Urus still king 💪..And yeah, amg gtr can easily take that terrain as shown by shmee.

Coming from a Lamborghini fan... I'd trade the glossy black touchscreen insanity in the Urus, which got dirty from fatty fingertips after a single day, with the much more sleeker cabin of the DBX. Outside styling is a different matter entirely as the Urus is striking but far from pretty while the DBX tries its best to make a large SUV look elegant and pretty, and mostly succeeds. Urus still king... of what? Lap times and performance statistics? My friend, if you care about such things, a supersports SUV is probably the dumbest choice you can make.

@@bentleygucci I’d take the urus over cayenne turbo gt if I was a wealthy man who needed an suv I would want 5 seats the urus can but the turbo gt can’t it’s a 4 seater.

I think it sound fantastic on the outside. Especially when you look at the new norms for car exhausts.

Hey SoL team🙂 Luved this beast...let's get the negative out of the way; No: head-up display, massage seats, collision avoidance tech options (Not the latest infotainment either - laggy) and No opening sunroof. Now onto all the goodies - Complete LUXURY -That engine, that growl exhaust NOTE, super quick trans, dynamic & low riding steering, chassis allows this vehicle to be so FLAT in the corners, those seats, Good sound system too. Basically its like a Urus (You have a Lambo w/4 seats and room for luggage!!) That 2 tone sport interior is STUNNING!!! I have a '22 X5 M Comp and this AM falls short re; the creature comforts. Otherwise I'd luv this as my fall/winter/spring daily. In Vancouver Canada we have a lovely summer so its top down driving. That's why a Top SUV is BEST for 6-12 months. But what a delight to drive. Thx for the review. You guys R-O-C-K!!!!

Great video, but I prefer the Urus all day long. The looks and the infotainment is so much better.

Ironically this video couldn’t have been anymore perfect. This was exactly what Aston Martin was shooting for with the DBX. They designed it to be an Aston Martin in every situation. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a donut in the snow(but I’m sure they wouldn’t allow that. Lol) But overall, you accidentally did a wonderful job 👍

Loved the review, but don't you think having inclement weather played to the SUV's strengths? I mean, you wouldn't want to be in a supercar in the snow! Performance SUVs are stupid imo, but this one is really beautiful. However, I wouldn't think of all that horsepower for performance and keeping up with supercars (as another reviewer said), I'd just think of it more in terms of effortlessness (ie being fully loaded with family and bags, but being able to effortlessly waft away from 50mph to 150mph and beyond (if you're on the autobahn) with little fuss or noise. This big, beautiful thing says 'chill' to me. If you're desperate to impress and want to draw attention to yourself, get something else. This is about quiet confidence. But in the end, I probably agree with you, ultimately the Bentayga is the one to go for.

It would be great if you start including and POV angle in your videos, the car is great, the road is beuatiful, we want to see more of it

"Looks" are entirely personal. For me this is easily the best looking SUV out there - by a country mile - but the infotainment lets it down, very, very badly. In short it won't sell anything like it should. I don't really understand why AM have done this. If they put the latest infotainment system it would sell much better and buyers would not be taking such a hit. I was hoping against hope that the 707 would have much better tech, the car needs and deserves this. As it is, the car that is supposed to save AM I think will end up another nail in its coffin - thats a shame

I didn't think it sounded that bad in the tunnel.

Supercars of London Awesome Review I think it's awesome that Aston Martin gave you the Keys to a DBX 707 and I hope you get another chance to Drive one in better weather Conditions and I think a Trackhawk is Way better because you can't beat the sound of a Supercharged V8

beautiful car but i really wish they would have made it a bit lower like a wagon or shooting brake. maybe put air suspension on it to appease the SUV buyers

So the DBX 707 is an SUV for all seasons. But if you have issues with Apple CarPlay, I fear I might have issues with Android Auto.

Likely. In my experience, CarPlay usually works better so a fail there is going to be a fail for both.

They need to drop a v12 and be real and get back to their heritage

The DBX was meant to be the saviour of Aston Martin, but they appear to messed it up with both the standard car and this 707. Massively overpriced and carrying out of date infotainment why would anyone consider buying one!!

Neither the Urus or the Aston are on the same level as the PORSCHE CAYENNE TURBO GT. End of story.

Awful video, awful review, awful quality, sorry, this isn't good enough. The amount of views says it all. How can STG produce so much better? It has to come down to organisation and planning of which there isn't enough in Paul's videos. Make less, make them better, other people can.
