That’s exactly the problem I have with these cars. HPs went to stratosphere yet speed limits stay the same and traffic laws are stricter than ever. 2:17 - this used to be an Aston "bug" - as you say, they didn't move the latch when they converted from RHD to LHD. But it's been that way on so many Astons for so long it's now a deliberate feature - it has become a tradition. Wouldn't change it even if they could.
18:20 as he flies past a Panamera, a Range Rover, and a Rolls Royce!
Not about the car, but I think it's neat that the dealer is using the digital e-ink license plates on their vehicles. They advertise the dealership until a car goes on a test drive at which point they change it to show dealer plates. Better than having to prop a plate in the back window or risk scratching the paint with the magnet backed plate. Only legal in a few states, but kind of neat to see.

Because more FEMALE buyers than ever before means having to dilute traditional driver's values. Sadly, even most luxury dealership employees wouldn't know about heel & toe, pitch .vs. yaw & so on.
Not the newest tech. I'll almost take that as a win. It means you get real buttons for a lot of things. Instead of everything being touchscreen controlled. 👍 And it may just be me. But I don't think those advanced driver assist things like self driving. Is the most important thing, when you're in a car that is built as a drivers car. Loved the video, as always. 😊🙌

@@MrManBuzz Well yes and no. Personally I hate when they make everything touch controlled. Sure it looks nice, but buttons just works better when you use them while driving. (Most companies also do that because it's cheaper to slap a screen on the dash. Instead of spending a lot of money on design and layout of buttons) And I would probably go for something else, if I wanted the car to drive for me. But that's just my opinion. 😊 I do however agree with the fact that it is a bit dated. They should have touch control on the few things they do have on the screen.

Along with the hood latch being on the right/passenger side, looks like they also didn't switch the button for Drive on the dash - makes sense to be on the far right for a right hand drive car - closer to the driver. But seems far away from the driver for a left hand drive car.

23" tyres, now they are definitely going to be pricey and hard to come by. I know from my experience working in a tyre shop that anything 20" and above is costly and can be a pain to get a hold of.
Great video
The umbrella looks like they just stuffed it in as an afterthought, and there’s no way to get at it without getting wet, unlike the hidden umbrella in a Rolls Royce.

It looks so clean, wonder how it would compete against the trackhawk considering they’re both cinder blocks on wheels

I would like too see that to and add a hellcat Durango
Bonnet release for the current AM line up excluding dbs and db11is always in the passenger footwell and swaps side. UK cars are in the LHD passenger footwell for instance.
Beautiful car! It would be my daily driver if i could afford it. Great video Doug
Looks like new Ford Focus Active

That doug score is pretty nice.
Man I love these! I want one so bad!
Doug is the type of guy to say, " 540 horsepower is not enough"!
I have not been a fan of the current generation of Aston Martins for some time; mainly due to the amount of Mercedes components in them that just stop these cars being an "Aston Martin" to me. And yes I know a lot of the older Astons had Ford, Mazda, Jaguar and Citroën components in them but they had just enough style and substance to keep them an "Aston Martin". But this DBX 707...I love it! They've tipped the balance enough to make me feel this car is more Aston Martin than Mercedes...and I don't even like SUV's!
Finally maybe doug does listen to his fans 🤙
As a brit having the “hood” release in the passenger footwell is very normal as most car brands also don’t move their latch release over so only British car brands and a couple of others that have it in the drivers footwell
Yes I was thinking $280k for a car was quite an economical choice 😂 it’s all relative!
I showed this to my dad that is a massive car guy and he unironically said "woah, is that the new fiesta?" Lmao

Seen one here in Colorado amazing vehicle up close
LOVE THIS SUV SO MUCH!! Maybe one of the best looking SUV’s right next to the X5M Competition.

I think this is the first time i ever heard him using the 0-60 time from a magazine and not manufacturer times. NO WAY does the cayenne, x5, e63 and rs6/rsq8 look better than the DBX!!!! It's funny how you have all the german cars higher in styling!!

Can’t wait for you to review the Purosangue
I don’t understand all these “fastest suv ever tested in 0-60” claims that completely ignore the model x plaid. Is it not considered an suv?

Granted a lot of other SUVs stretch the definition too so it's not strictly the Model X, but I'd personally consider the Model X an egg minivan more than anything. Like a modern day fast Previa.

Sorry but you mentioned all the super suv’s except the Ferrari Purosangue! It has 725hp which is more than the “700hp”
