New 2023 Ford Explorer - Redesigned Practical Family SUV

New 2023 Ford Explorer has been rolled out in the market of China. The latest SUV comes with huge updates in comparison to the previous model. In addition, it also gets several China-centric updates that have been introduced keeping the taste of local customers in mind.
In terms of exterior design, it adopts Changan Ford's latest "potential energy aesthetics" design concept, equipped with a "3D scale armor" front grille design integrated with the through-type headlights, and also cancels the front fog lights. The EXPLORER letter logo has been added to the engine cover, which has significantly improved the high-end sense of the vehicle.
From the side view, the new car has basically not changed much compared with the current model, and the shape of the wheel hub adopts a new design.
The tail shape has also been adjusted. The new explorer adopts a C-shaped extended light strip design, which is quite textured when lit. In addition, a chrome-plated trim runs across the taillights on both sides, and the logo of "EXPLORER" is printed on it, which creates a good momentum. With the silver guard plate of the lower bumper and the quadrilateral exhaust with double outlets on both sides, the sporty feeling is simply full.
In terms of size, the new explorer is still a "big guy", with the same length5063 mm, width 2004 mm and height 1778 mm as the current model, and the wheelbase is 3025 mm.
If the changes in appearance make the new explorer look more refined, then the interior design will become the biggest highlight of the new explorer. In addition to the changes in the design style, more metal chrome strips are also used for embellishment. All models are equipped with a 27-inch super-large screen and a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel.
In addition, the new car is equipped with Ford's SYNC+2.0 smart travel interconnected car-machine system and VPA smart travel partner, which supports navigation, music, video software and vehicle OTA upgrade functions.
The new car adopts the popular two-color collocation, combined with ambient lights, leather and various decorative materials, creating a good sense of luxury.
In terms of seat layout, the new explorer still provides two different versions of 6-seater or 7-seater. It is worth mentioning that the new car has optimized the first and second rows of seats, and comes standard with Dinamica microfiber environmental protection suede, which improves the friction of the shoulders. At the same time, the first and second rows of headrests have been redesigned to improve the overall ride comfort.
In terms of power, the new explorer based on the longitudinal rear-drive platform continues to be equipped with the current fourth-generation 2.3T EcoBoost engine + 10speed Automatic Transmission gearbox power combination, with a maximum power of 276Ps and a peak torque of 425Nm of torque.
In addition, the new explorer adopts double ball joint spring shock strut front suspension + multi-link rear suspension, and the control arm is made of aluminum alloy. The new car offers rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options, with 6 driving modes. The official 0-100km/h acceleration time is 7.6s.
The new car has a total of 4 models with configurations, and the pre-sale price range is 309,800 to 379,800 yuan.

@@AxcelerateRoblox haha I hope you’re right. Unfortunately my 2021 f150 was 76k and the same truck is now 90k without many features due to the “supply chain”. Things like a heated steering wheel aren’t included anymore.
i love the interior but the exterior is so so for me in first view …a little to roundish for me ….nevertheless i would drive it!!

Both are exactly the same transmission. Now days those 1st tier suppliers ship the parts globally. For example, Engine plant will ship the engines to all assembly plants in the world. Automotive is a big industry, your car has parts that comes from all over the world.
