New 2023 Ford Explorer - Redesigned Family SUV

Ford has unveiled the updated Explorer in China as the company’s new flagship model, complete with a redesigned exterior and a new massive screen inside the cabin. The Chinese website refers to it as a brand-new model, but it is more accurately described as a comprehensive facelift of the sixth-generation Explorer, which was introduced in 2019.
The 2023 Explorer is instantly recognizable from the side view due to the carry-over body panels, but everything else has changed. At the front, there is a significantly larger grille flanked by slimmer bumper intakes, and new LED headlights that are connected through an LED strip. There is also an Explorer lettering on the bonnet.
The rear end is also tweaked, with a new set of LED taillights mounted horizontally. Between them, there is a chrome strip, while the revised rear bumper got a more prominent skid-plate with dual exhaust pipes. The grille pattern and the bumpers will be different depending on the trim level, with the ST-Line version getting the sportiest treatment. Due to the redesigned front and rear ends, the Explorer is slightly longer than before, measuring 5,063 mm.
In the cabin, the most attention-grabbing update is an enormous 27-inch touchscreen. The screen stretches all the way from the instrument cluster to the passenger-side ventilation outlet and looks nothing like the US-spec Explorer's optional 10.1-inch interface. There is also a new instrument panel and center console, wider and more comfortable seats, and elegant color schemes including ruby and black.
It's clear that the Chinese Explorer has a more high-tech, premium veneer than the one sold in the USA. Stateside, it's positioned as more of a practical family vehicle.
The 2023 Explorer is powered by a 2.3-liter, EcoBoost, turbo-petrol engine that is mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox, along with an optional all-wheel-drive system. The mill generates a maximum power of 272hp and a peak torque of 425Nm.
Ford is expected to launch an electric version of Explorer. But that is not expected to happen until late 2024 or even 2025. Most of these changes are expected to be exclusive to China-spec Explorer and won’t make it to the 2023 US-spec model.

@@Firefly_3161 говноваг тоже самое гуано. Привезли Ку 5 дизель, через время лег движок от нашей горючки, так дешевле вышло привезти контрактный из Европы за 6 евро чем откапиталить этот геморрой

@@user-sg9fj2ld4k я после последней заправки где вместо бенза залили непонятную вонючую субстанцию купил спирта и только на спирту езжу. Одна проблема зимою надо ставить вебасто что б заводить без проблем. Чтоб двигатель имел ресурс надо брать как минимум 6ти цилиндровьій… ну и без детских болячек.

Все эти игры в якобы экологичность это звиздеж чтоб современные машины ни в коем случае не проехали больше гарантии, чтоб на завод за новой пришли а не вторичку кормили. Этот сговор производителей современных авто приводит к тому что скоро в этот сифилис из фольги размером с пакет сока как например экобуст от Форда скоро по 5 турбин ставить будут , чтоб движки меняли вместе с заменой масла

Okay, I have a problem with this. Why is Ford putting its best products overseas. I'd buy this vehicle if it was sold stateside. The Aviator sold in America doesn't even look like this. I don't begrudge China havi good products. I even encourage it. However, we should not be getting inferior products than other countries. Get your act together Ford. I've bought nothing but Ford products since I turned 18, however, you're about to lose me as a customer for good if this crap continues. Ridiculous!

@@eggheadegghead I would think that it would be more cost effective if you had the same product with very similar options. This product (China version) would do very well here in The States. I think the left and right arm should be communicating with each other,
