A nice mix of boat styles in this video. No real idiots heading out. That pretty blonde on the foredeck of the Monterey doing a selfie, should have been wearing a PFD. An enjoyable video.

Why do all the big boats have only one or two people on them? Are they being test driven? Rentals? Seems strange so few people on them?

At that big they aren't rentals, the owners were bored at home and decided to go out, with or without his few friends. Have a nice Day.

I see that the boat mfgrs have gone to outboards instead in inboards or in board out boards any reason ????

  • @markshutt1476

Outboards give a lot more internal space on boats, useful for storage or living/partying space. Much easier to work on and maintain, flush them with fresh water and raise them out of the saltwater, they'll last much longer. Out drives (inboard/outboard) similar. Bit more room by sliding engines all the way aft. Probably shallower draft.

Another reason besides Mark's good answer, Around Miami we have many shallow areas and also 3 major sandbars. An outboard engine lets you reach those sandbars much easier.
