All you need is decline and incline.... did he touch on decline at all? Decline is the best out of all.

I stopped doing flat chest presses and only doing incline smith machine and cable flies and have seen much better improvement in my overall chest size that I wasn’t getting before

that's why i don't come home first... i do a full day's labor on mostly an empty stomach (like a glass of protein in the morning and some coffee) and then head straight to the gym on the way home and after work and lifting i go home and eat my first meal

More and more unsavory people at the gym these days anyway. I do it at home now and it saves the hassle of packing a gym bag, finding parking, and waiting on equipment. Also saves money.

Due to a shoulder problem I can't bench for a while now but do cable fly's instead, low, mid, high and seem to have better chest activation and pump with it. Definately keep doing them!!
Long time fan. Awesome video.
I've been doing most of my push and pull on cable at low medium and high positions all thanks to Mr Shreve. I really feel these exercise targeting these areas a lot more effectively. I stopped doing the closed hand dumbbell at the bench.
Finally a better chest exercise for the middle upper, hate doing the dumbbells close together as tri's burn out so quick. Great video. 🤘👍

I totally agree with the 15 and 30 deg bench and the cable flyes. Other exercises work but these are the most effective 👍🏾

I would have never noticed that Bobby Orr pic if I hadn't read your post. Right between Glenn "Mr. Goalie" Hall's wickets. I was also a goaltender. In 1970 I went to the "Orr -Walton" Sports Camp in Orillia Canada. Orr took shots on me, spoke to me briefly, and 2 years later, at a jam-packed department store stick signing, he almost immediately recognized me. I have an autographed pic of myself, Orr, and Mike Walton from 1970 taken at his sports camp. 👍🏽😃 Let's hope that the Bruins do better this year in the post season. Now, blast those pecs!😂

I don't need more upper chest, I need more lower. Dips, flat bench press and dumbell pullovers are key for lower mass in the chest

Been doing the chest fly tri-exercise for some time, lost the moobs, but can't quite get the middle section yet so I'll try the Smith machines too. Anythings worth a go. Great tips and loving the "here's why", so many videos lack that.

New subscriber here, so glad I found your channel on coincidence. I learned so much in this video! I am guilty of using seated barbell press, I start the press with my palms parallel to my body, then press over my chest with my grip turned horizontal as they meet at the top. But you're right, I suppose it does put a lot of pressure on my shoulders too. I never really considered incline. Will try incline out more with the machine.

The exercises are great, for those who work out at the gym, I work out at home and don't have the machines available at the gym. I have dumbbells combined, stretch bands, and resistance band
Just found this guy. Physiologically accurate!!! I’ll be watching more. As I get older I notice some parts tend to get sore that shouldn’t, so I adjust my training. What I end up with is doing everything this guy says. Build muscle, save your joints.
Slightly declined bench and Incline bench ftw. Dumbbell flies are how I got the most chest development out of all chest exercises I think it depends on how you do them.
