I would just still use the Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream in the tall blue bottle. The fragrance free for sensitive & dry skin. You save money that way & dermatologists say you can use it on your face. I do use serums under it also for the actives. ❤

Yes, you can absolutely use any body moisturizer on your face as long as you your skin tolerates it. Unfortunately, my face does not tolerate this moisturizer 😩 but it’s great for the body!

Exactly what is the previous Neutrogena mositurizer? I never heard you say and I could not read the jar during the video. Is it the Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel-cream extra-dry fragrance free? The one that is being discontinued? (which I am sick about, because I love it) Is the new water gel formula fragrance free?

Neutrogena have already discontinued the moisturizer but not the serum!

Couldn't use the former due to FungalAcne and Olivate in general. The newest has even more, especially Urea which isn't good forr my Rosacea. Too bad.

I've been using the new formula in 🇬🇧 . The hydroboost dry fragrance free with ceramide np and amino acids in moisturiser . I love the dimethicone slip . 😊❤🇬🇧

Moisturizer: I’m concerned about the Cetearyl Olivate + Sorbitan Olivate combo . My skin doesn’t like these two together high on the inci 😬 but I do love the addition of amino acids! My skin loves the ordinary amino acids plus B5 serum! so no issue there. The old one has been discontinued, but I’m glad it’s still available to purchase for now. The upgraded serum looks amazing!!

How do you know your skin does not “like” these ingredients?

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Cream and also their new HB Water Gel BOTH burn/sting my face. Also they don't come in tamper proof packaging or containers. I now use Jin Jung Sung Hybrid Face & Eye Moisturizer now. I get an extra ounce of moisturizer plus an easier to use flip open top, tamper proof seal on container AND a WAY more comprehensive list of ingredients for LESS money .

Sounds like you have taken great care of your skin! My mom always looked much younger than her age as well, hope I got some of those genetics! I would say if you are debating between those three I would recommend starting with The Ordinary Copper Peptide Serum - it is still one I love and despite finding others I love, I still keep coming back to The Ordinary.

Hello Miss Radiant Skin (seriously, your skin is like model perfect!), Did you ever try their new water cream or just the water gel? (The old one was called gel cream, which makes it really confusing about which new one would be closer to the old formula consistency.) although I realize there’s many beneficial new ingredients to the new formulas, I’ve been afraid to try moisturizers because some people’s skin has had a reaction to all the added ingredient and because I can’t decide between the water gel and water cream. I’m not sure which would be closest inconsistency to the previous gel cream so I stocked up on the discontinued version. Not thrilled to hear that the new version doesn’t dry down as well and feels a little sticky or some thing (I thought you said?) although you also said it felt more natural. The old version felt a little tacky on my skin, even after drying down, so I was hoping the new one wouldn’t feel sticky.

Is the new hydro boost moisturizer still a gel or more of a cream? Which is a bit stickier the new one or old one? Does the new one absorb well like the old one did?

There are actually two new moisturizers, a water gel and a water cream. I've tried the latter and it's definitely a lot less gel like than the old Gel-Cream Extra Dry. It still soaks in well.

It's one of the first times I've been pretty happy with Neutrogena! The one I talked about is more of a gel texture. I will do a verses of them and that will help I think. It absorbs nicely and is less sticky than the previous one.

I don’t like the new Warner cream , it’s greasy to me so I’m gonna switch to the water gel

being alcohol free tells us nothing really as it is a perfecty safe ingredient for dry skin..And as you know Im sure, you cant judge a product on the ingredient list, any cosmetic chemist will tell you that. Plus you cant tel the performance of a product based in individual ingredients ( all the ingredients are blended together that go into your jar)

Actually you compared two different products, water gel and cream gel are two different products. The updated one based on gel cream is called nourishing cream.

Actually, the discontinued Hydro Boost Gel Cream Fragrance Free was replaced by two options: the Hydro Boost Water Gel and Hydro Boost Water Cream. (Sarah is reviewing the water gel here. Dr Dray does a comparison video between the new Water Gel & Water Cream.) The new bottles look identical, so you need to look carefully for whether it says gel or cream. The cream is not called nourishing cream. I did a lot of research on the replacements so just thought I’d share what I learned. I have not tried the new products. I read that some people’s skin was sensitive to all the new added ingredients, so I have purchased backstock on the discontinued moisturizer but at some point, I will try the new one. I just don’t know whether I want to try the gel or the cream. Kind of hard to decide given the old one was called a gel cream. They don’t make it simple, that’s for sure! 😂

They made the dry skin one impossible for me to use when they added the lanolin derived cholesterol. The name of it is now Water Cream. Oh, well. I’ll find something in K Beauty to replace it.

That particular dropper hurts my hand & wrist.
