Exactly! It's gets sort of comedic when the patient is actually answering with affirmation BEFORE the doctor even tests for sensation sometimes! He goes "yep" before he's given the stimulus. Wouldn't happen if he closed his eyes.

sorry to add something. when you will ask to do tandem foot walking, make sure to stand on the back of patient and walk with him in case of fall on either side if suspected with cerebellar disease

The strength test can give a false result. If the patient is considerably stronger or weaker then you you will not be able to accurately determine loss of strength. A bodybuilder that is 10 times stronger than you may have lost half her strength, but are still five times stronger than you. Conversely an elderly patient who has no loss of strength may still appear to have lost strength when in fact they didn't.
