Heads up by Nelson Aghelor. If you notice that your teammate is injured or isn't right that is the right call you tell your team that you need to stop the play and check him out. This needs to be a big deal, because if this sport is going to flourish or even survive, it needs to have players like Nelson Agholor, doing exactly what he did out there for his teammate tonight! As an Eagles fan, I love Nelly - the way he and Nick just took over on that last Touchdown drive, the one that won SBLII, was unforgettable! I was very disappointed by how he was later treated by our fanbase, over a few bad drops, in an overall bad season while playing hurt. Seeing him tonight, so aware and looking out for his teammate’s wellbeing was awesome but not at all surprising. Some things are far more important than just winning a game!

Glad to see his humble attitude and wholesomeness translate to the NFL many years later.

So, the NFL has dudes whose job is to look out for these signs and get the guy checked. The only way Parker got help was his teammate waving like mad to get help for him. They were about ready to run another play if it wasn't for Agholor. Dude was struggling to stand up and get into formation for the play, but the medical professionals were like, "Yeah, he's good."

The craziest thing is that Parker still lined up in his position after having his brain battered. Nelson was my classmate from USC. He was one of the smartest athletes I've met so far. Good look out bro. His life story was pretty incredible. They should make a documentary about him. His journey to the NFL is incredible.

Superbowl Champ Nelson Agholor! Always been a class act. Grateful of what he did for the eagles. Looking out for his teammate as usual
thats how you earn a brother for life and a seat at the thanksgiving table
It's great that these guys looking out for each other, it's really a brotherhood. Even on Murray's injury there was a NE player signaling right away.
huge props to Nelson Agholor
High praise what a great teammate. He truly cares about people

And as an Eagle
Went to school with Agholor back in the USC days. Gotta say that he was by far one of the nicest dudes I came across. Always down to speak to the students and never thought he was any different just because he was on an athletic team.

Most MMA refs are good enough to instantly get in when someone gets knocked out sometimes before they even hit the floor, but this dude walks around like he had 5 drinks too many, has to helped walk around by a teammate and they still don't realize they should maybe do something lol

The craziest thing is that Parker still lined up in his position after having his brain battered. This happened to my best friend in high school - he said literally the only thing he could remember to do is where to line up next. Middle name? Girlfriend's name? Where he lived? None of that, but he could determine where to stand when he heard the play call.

ive gotten concussed once during a highschool football game my freshman year. i wish anyone wouldve been Nelson and pointed out something was wrong. what a awesome thing to do by the guy.
Agholor is a good dude. Genuinely made me very happy and proud to see how insistent he was on getting him immediate help. Gained a lot of respect from me.
That right there will make anyone who's played football happy. Everyone wants a teammate that aware of his brother's injury and who's willing to help. No it's not as common as you'd think. My sophomore year I got concussed and was falling over and only our TE noticed. Thanks Josh. You're a real one

They wanted to get the next play off before the cardinals could challenge the catch since the ball came loose at the end, it had nothing to do with the concussion.
The way DeVante is struggling to maintain his stance shows you that he absolutely needed to be checked for a concussion. Nelson being a good teammate by looking out for his boy mad props.

same idk why but players looking out for other players head injuries always makes me well up. Glad we're past the days of viewing teammates as weak for not playing through. Doubt he knew what planet he was on
That’s a good teammate, always love the love and respect between co workers trying to do the best they can do
I hope Nelson Aghelor gets media attention and major respect for this. That was some pretty subtle stuff for him to detect in the heat of a game.
Agholor has spent his career getting ripped on for dropped passes, but as a Raider fan who was lucky enough to watch and listen to him on a weekly basis for a bit, he is an absolute gem of a human being. This doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.
Simmons (#9 from Arizona) was trying to alert them to call it off. Big props to him as well.
These players have to stick together look out for each other regardless of being on opposite teams because apparently nobody else will
People wish they had friends like this in life... this is the definition of "I'VE GOT YOUR BACK" - Nelson, this is a hall of fame move you just did my friend - you may have saved his life.
Great job Nelson Agholor. Class act on looking out for a teammate. Much respect ✌🏽
Great teammate/brother 😢to catch that an do the right thing! 💯
Agholor can't hold onto a football to save his life but he can hold onto his teammates to save their health
This brings me back to my Pop Warner days I remember getting pop so hard that I got knocked out and when I got up I wanted to go back in the game. My coach would not let me get back in even I threw my helmet and yelled. He told me to go walk it off and get something to drink and stay on the sidelines until the game was over . Sometimes we all need that person to save us from ourselves, because if not, we will keep going

Dude was wobbly on his feet lining up for the next play. The correct call to get him checked and great job by Agholor!
It takes a lot of courage to do what he just did...I'm a new fan
Good shit Nelson. Gotta protect one another. You do have a life outside the game.
I'm watching casually from my couch and immediately knew something was wrong with him. His arms went limp for a second right after hitting the ground and as soon as I saw that my eyes never left him. How did no one else involved with the team see this?

Big respect to Nelson for seeing that his teammate wasn't physically able to be in that play. The ref saw it too but you can't stop the play in a moment like that. Its really on the Pats and ref for making players health a top priority during the game
