Great recognition for seeing the signs. Highest praise for courage to stop the play for the sake of his teammate’s health.

Huge, HUGE props to him! He's the type teammate we all wish we had! When you have a concussion you can't make good decisions! Sometimes you don't even know exactly what's wrong even though you just hit your head! Personally last year I hit my head, knocking myself our for a few minutes and when I came to I had a bad headache but didn't even think about a concussion until a coworker asked me if I had a concussion. I said I didn't but was acting really weird. I wanted to go home, but my boss (who watched the whole thing happen) said he needed me through at least lunch. I was miserable. We were doing demolition of an apartment. Every hammer blows chiping up the tile floors was like a chisel into my ear! I still don't remember much of that day, but my coworkers filled me in after the fact. My boss wasn't happy, but I ended up at the doctor that afternoon and he wouldn't let me go back to work for a full week! I just wish I'd have had coworkers that stepped up and told me to go home!

@@LeadBariBass way a head of you! I know longer work there! I will say I didn't leave right away and actually left on good terms. Things came to a head a few weeks later and a bunch of guys quit. The boss that was causing a lot of the problems recognized a bunch of his issues and actually changed! But it was still a dead end job and I got out of there as soon as I found something better!

People forget oftentimes between all the hard hits and trash talk and rivalries even amongst team members these guys are people and in times like this it really comes out. When someone suffers an injury or has some emergent situation all the rest stops. You turn from let’s win the game to let’s keep this person alive or at least prevent any future damage. Those basic instincts kick in of preservation and protection of your fellow man and I think that was perfectly illustrated here. God Bless Agholor he’s a terrific person and deserves all the credit

That is a teammate who cares about his team. He definitely helped keep him safe and deserves many, many props!!

As someone who has multiple brain injuries that were not properly medically addressed I have to say this is awesome to see his teammate help him out like this. This is what someone should do if you see someone going through these or other types of symptoms after a head injury.

Bravo Nelson having your teammates back! Yes he should be commended

This scenario would be perfect for training each player how to recognize this sort of thing. Every team should use this video as training material. Bravo to Nelson for having this awareness to help a teammate.

Yes indeed. Granted there are spotters who are supposed to do that job, but clearly that protocol isn't foolproof as if they missed this one there's a chance they'll miss another one (or maybe already have missed others...) When it comes to these kinds of injuries, the more layers of redundancy you can build into the protocol system, the safer everyone will be when this situation arises.

Not only does Nelson Agholor deserve the due praise that he should get, he also deserves a huge raise! He probably saved his life! Let alone his career! Big ups for Nelson!!!

As an Eagles fan, I absolutely love Nelson Agholor. He's such a good dude and seems like a great teammate. The only issue anyone ever had with him was his drops but I think without him popping off in 2017, we never win the Super Bowl. I kept rooting for him when other Eagles fans wouldn't, and seeing things like this makes me feel vindicated. I love Nelly and I will root for him wherever he plays (unless he ever goes to Dallas)

That's what a team mate should do. It's a pity it doesn't happen all the time. HUGE kudos to Nelson Agholor for doing what needed to be done.

That have me chills.. I've never seen anything like that before. He honestly could've let that man be his own man in that moment but I love how he stepped up.

Agholor just saved Parker. I give him props. I would now hope that the NFL has a policy where if a player suspects that someone has a concussion that protocol can be activated. All players should have a training to know what symptoms to look for. This is in case the spotters miss something. I play quadball and my team has a training we have to do to recognize concussions. A presentation by the ATs would be perfect.

The NFL literally pays a guy to watch the game for this exact reason. Where the hell is that guy? Everyone watching knew that there was a problem, how the hell did the NFL stooge not see this? Coaches are a good bit away, so they mostly get a pass here. They have to get on with the next play. I can't tell which offensive lineman helps him up but that guy had a chance to do more.

We need more people in the league like Agholor. The league will make big strides if it takes players health and safety as it’s #1 priority.

As an Eagles fan...honestly, wtf are you talking about? He was treated fair enough,he was a first round pick that was unwhelming his first couple years and was on the verge of getting cut. He balled out on 2017 but he was also the 3rd receiver getting less attenion. He took over as the lead receiver when exactly? He had a handful of catches in the game, one very impressive over the shoulder catch, but Ertz had the big catch and Nelly wasn't drawing coverage from Gilmore so in no way shape or form was he the lead WR. After that Nelly got a case of dropsy and played poorly for the remainder of his tenure. Everyone appreciates the year he gave us in 2017 because he was a very good slot guy and caught everything thrown to him...but are we supposed to keep him 10 years when he is literally costing us games. He did a great job here helping out his teammate here but don't revise the past based on what happened over this weekend.

@@williamblackfyre4866 to clarify, I simply meant Nelson Agholor stepped into the role of “lead receiver” for that one particular drive - the most important drive in Eagles’ history, in my opinion. After getting burned by Alshon in Q1, Belichick & Co used Gilmore + safety help to take Jeffery out of the game. Go rewatch that final drive if you can. Apart from Ertz’s do or die 1 yard catch on 4th Down, and his legendary redzone 3rd & 7 TD grab, there is a single short pass to Corey Clement to set up a 3rd & short, followed by a quick out to Torrey Smith that lost a yard and made it 4th Down. Every other reception on that drive, every single chunk play down the field, was Foles to Agholor, again and again, so that moving Agholor from the slot to out wide, on 3rd & 7, meant single coverage on Zach Ertz which Ertz easily beat, and the rest is history. “Treated fairly” doesn’t mean grossly overpay someone for a decade long mega deal. Obviously, in hindsight, even picking up Agholor’s one year option was the wrong call, but beforehand there’d been a good argument for and against doing it. The “We were catching [babies] unlike Agholor.” was hilarious. Every single Eagles player has been boo’d at some point, but some of the personalized attacks on Nelson, from the fans, were excessive, mean spirited, and simply put, a really bad look for our fanbase. Directing ire towards one or two particular players, for our atrocious 2020 season was kinda ridiculous.

I remember the time period where Eagles fans were dumping on him for his drops, and Agholar invited a man out for dinner who had saved a baby from a fire (by catching the baby) and made a joke about how his hands were better than Nelson's. That was good human spirit shown by Agholar, so this latest instance doesn't surprise me, at all.

I am the mother of three sons who played football and/or soccer through high school and/or college. They were super athletes and are wonderful men today. Thankfully, they never sustained awful head injuries!

Agreed I’ve definitely never seen this come up before. Glad he was looking out for his teammate.

I'm shocked that the spotters missed this. Dude's equilibrium was clearly gone and he could barely get set. Big props for Agholor for noticing (as a USC fan, it makes me proud to see a USC alum show great sportsmanship) but the spotters need to do better.

That's what we need more of!! Much respect for Agholor!!

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 best teammate! When I go through our concussion protocols I tell my students to do the same and report when one of their teammates exhibits symptoms because they could be saving a life. Sometimes the health of every player on the field or court depends on the entire team.

Massive props to him for noticing that and stopping play. Football is a dangerous sport, but it is not worth someone getting a brain injury that could effect the rest of his life.
