Neil Finn stands in the company of the greatest song writers of the century and the other greats would be honoured to stand next to him. That’s my take on it.

It's a shame that Neil Finn has been largely overlooked as one of the great songwriters of our time by many key players in the music world. There's an argument to be made that Crowded House should get their turn in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, especially with songs like Don't Dream It's Over and Better Be Home Soon, among others.

I was surprised by how moving this live performance was (and continues to be). I don't normally like audiences singing, but when the audience sings the chorus at the end here, it's spine-tingling.

I just love that NZ and AUS crowds can sing in tune! This is lovely to hear
