Rogue Trader’s DIY spirit lives on. I could see using it as a fighting recovery vehicle, with a mobility-killed tank or APC on top that still has fully functioning turret & guns.

That rig would make a great "Beast" for the Space Weirdos solo play rules!

The odd scale design and oversized wheels of your vehicle reminds me of the armored vehicles from the sci-fi movie *Soldier* (1998).

I, or rather, my son, has the dump truck version of that toy and I've definitely been eyeballing it as a potential Ork battle wagon. He hasn't played with it in years and it's literally collecting dust on our patio. I think I'd better scoop it before his baby sister takes an interest.

Speaking of decking it out… made me think of those giant dump trucks… It would look cool with a deck for guys like on top of the cab, with ladders up the side and a staircase going up in front of the grill… maybe stairs from top of the hood in front of the passenger window to the deck on the cab… something like that… would heighten the sense of scale like it’s just a giant truck!!

This build turned out amazing I really like what you did with it. It looks like it's very versatile with what you can use it for. Very cool

So looking at that final factions dune buggy here's an idea of what you can convert it to. 1. Rip out the entire roll bar section on the top of the vehicle. 2. Remove seat and fill in any gaps with plasticard. 3. From the armor add-on kit add the front ram type piece that goes underneath. 4. Replace the back wheels with those tread sections from the steam tanks you have for All quiet on the martian front. 5. Turn the front section into a driver's section either open topped or encased in the back can be a storage area. You now got yourself a half track buggy/transport for cargo and models.

Though i think this was very inspired, to me it still looks too "toyish" (?). It need more kitbash! There's a lot of potential to fill many of the flat areas with greeblies, plasticard shapes and such. But quite enjoyable video as always and many of us can look up that truck for our own.

Scale model accessories would be a good idea, at least in my opinion.

I do love the concept of turning old toy trucks into wasteland / Ork Vehicles though I find their rounded edges to go against the aesthetic of 40k in a lot of cases. Still, nothing a bit of plastic card can't fix!

Sometimes that smooth plastic can be difficult to paint. Did you tried to give it a once over with acetone? It usually makes plastic a little porous and paint stick to it better. Love the conversion by the way.

Looks great. Maybe the pencil case bottom half on top would work a bit better.

That toy with enough bitz could make for a nice Ork truck.

trailer wise why not glue some sort of universal trailer hitch, when i make models of my own i have my own design for an universal hitch that allows trucks and trailers of different kinds to be attached without issues, tho in my case its usually just a frame with a pin on it to allow these old train toy type of connections and it can take just about anything and with a screw cap to not let the trailer detach on its own... or you can go the lego way and use magnets
