Nazi Germany occupies Denmark in 1940 (footage of invasion in Hungarian newsreel)

This movie reel shows scenes from the German invasion of Denmark on April 9 1940. According to the National Museum of Denmark, this film starts with German footage of the occupation of Copenhagen, which is followed by other news stories.
This film is a part of the archive of The National Museum of Denmark, in which the recordings are titled “Film: Ungarsk ugerevy“.

Description: “Ugerevy med speak på ungarsk. Første del består af kendte tyske optagelser fra besættelsen af København d. 9/4 1940 i bedre billedkvalitet, end man normalt ser, og tilsat festlig underlægningsmusik. Senere en militærparade i Budapest i 1941, vist nok for at mindes sejren over de østrigske tropper ved Smolenice i 1704. 35 mm. Ungarsk.”
