Danes celebrate the liberation of Denmark May 4 ‘45, but Freedom Fighters fight fierce battles May 5

In this film, you can see the people of Copenhagen celebrate the news of the liberation of Denmark in the evening of May 4 1945. The very next day, Freedom Fighters fight fierce battles, and a killed Freedom Fighter is covered. The film also shows Dr. Best leaving Dagmarhus and the interrogation of Pancke and Bovensiepen. K. B. Martinsen is arrested in Korsør, and crown prince Frederik is briefly shown driving in a parade to the opening of Rigsdagen May 9.
