Naz Reid Changes Everything For Minnesota

The Minnesota Timberwolves look like a real championship team. And while the play of Anthony Edwards has been the primary driving force to this teams success. I also the play of the Timberwolves role players has also been a huge factor. And thats especially the case for Naz Reid.

His impact is huge and momentum shifting / sustaining. My only fear is he's clearly good enough to be a starter in an NBA team right now, so it'll be challenging to keep him in this role in coming years.

3-and-D! Every team needs more players like him. His measurements also show why comparing standing-reach is more important than height.

It seems like the best way to guard Jokic is chest bumps: he’s not fast enough to avoid them without spinning so you then simply need long arms for a contest 🤔

his defense is much better than Anthony Davis, what's more important is his attitude, humble, willing to do dirty work, putting body on the big man. this team is scary

@@christiansy4943 another sour laker fanboy. while it is true that AD is the only one who play defense in LA, he is also slow and afraid to play physical. Look at how Naz defend Joker in game2 without Gobert. Fanboy is so good at finding excuses, just like LeBum

This my sound crazy but you heard it here first. I believe they should put him on Luka when they play in the next round. He's bigger, stronger and have the foot speed. Not that you need foot speed for Luka. Luka can't use his size on Reid. Reid can give Luka problems on that step back 3, the min range and the post. I wouldn't double Luka. Let him play one on one and take his teammates out the game. Again, you heard it hear first.

Finaly a video on Naz Reid. Been seeing Edwards this and that and apparantely he is now MJ, but the simple fact is Naz Reid is the difference. Without Naz, there is not way Timeberwolves dominate to such an extent. In fact they very clearly lose both games.
