Reality is all people and parties are a mixture of left and right depending on what issue you ask them about. Plus at the end of the day we agree on more things than we disagree on, all the stuff we don't argue on outweighs the key issues we do agree on. But everyone just blocks things that the other side put forth not because it isn't a good idea but just because its their idea. It's sad. And a civil war in America would leave America never as strong again, possibly broken into seperate states or shrunk as other countries did opportunistic landgrabs, and then China would be the number 1 superpower which is scary.

Soldiers don't start wars nor do they pick where to go, that's part of the sacrifice they make. A soldier doesn't get the luxury of choice he gets the privilege of service. The way he conducts himself in war is a reflection of the country as a whole, his family, and his morals. That is all I meant. Very intellectual, and philosophical discussion on current issues. I find it amazing, when people who have seen extreme violence, or been forced to engage in it, generally, despise it after their "time/duty" has passed. I was in LE for 29 years and have seen more bodies, and trauma than I can recall - yes I have tried. I also deplore violence, and agree 100% with this guest - people who haven't experienced continuous violence, don't understand what it does to the average person. Great interview Joe! I wish our history of the founding of our country and the horror of the wars our men and women engaged in over even the last 70 years was taught in high school history. It might bring a thread of sanity in this crazy social environment. I really appreciate your perspectives. Mr. Rogan, it is clear why you are outperforming so many of the cable channels. I hope it will never happened to you, but if it happens, believe me, you will all agree with my capslocked part if you do not agree now. When war is in your country, it is not happening just to you as a fighter, it is happening to everybody and this part of "war in your country" is harder than fight itself.

No it didn’t. I understand the post is semi-humorous, but the reality is this has been building and taking incremental steps for years. The lift got bolder and bolder with the outright violence. A couple weeks ago, there was a literal battle in a park between the two sides using shields, batons and bear mace. This past weekend, a guy with a BLM tattoo literally murdered a man on the street in front of his friend because they are going to vote for two different people. It’s taking years to get here, but make no mistake… It’s HERE. Now that the shooting has started, it’s just a matter of time before more people in the crowd are armed on both sides and the number of casualties per incident goes up.

"Do we let them off the hook or summarily execute prisoners when they just quit and go back to hiding in their basements... @@dickpark9807 I’d personally say the closest thing we had to a second civil war was the US riots vs US police. Not many of the states would accept Trump’s offer for the Guard or ask for it. Police had to actively find people rioting and damaging property. Where the cops would be, the rioters would be blocks away. Anyone they did catch would be released hours or days later. We really do need to unplug, shut down social media and just go outside or something for a few months. I really think the SJW bs started as a joke that got out of hand and became a real thing. The issue is that a lot of Americans probably wouldn’t get into the military due to all these new mental health things and being overweight. I tried enlisting but I can’t because of a medical condition and it’s not a BS excuse.

Violence is eventually going to happen on both sides. You cant expect to remain unharmed when you're looting, killing people and destroying property. A revolution based on personal gain will bring nothing but problems. However, you would be a fool not to expect violence when you maintain a system built on oppression, subtle segregation and foul play, you continue to attack the livelihood of a group of people for decades and it's only a matter of time until they get fed up and resort to the natural path of violence.

@ PappaMurf’s Porch, 1 good sincere punch to the face is worth 5 years of karate training. Pain is a good teacher, and experience is usually painful. I have been in enough fights growing up, and dicey situations because of my job. Every situation is different, but if you prepare yourself for any situation you can think of, the better off you will be. I understand the retired SEALS point of view. I hope he is right, but the wild card comes from extremist on every side, the people who just want to watch the world burn, for no other reason than they have chosen to act in an evil manner. Here is the thing though, If you want to take the time to figure out why someone acts the way they do, please feel free. Unfortunately I don’t always have the luxury to figure out the trigger for the motives that someone has. Sometimes, my immediate response has to be to neutralize the threat, before they can harm me, or themselves. You have to be aware of the situation and your surroundings, and know to the best of your knowledge who you are dealing with. I am a CCP holder, with firearms training, and one thing I always tell someone, as a firearm owner, you need to be honest with yourself, and know, really know, that you have the possibility to end the life of someone’s brother, sister, mother, father, uncle, cousin, friend. But they are also trying to take you away from your spouse, your children, your Mother, your Father, your Uncles, Aunts, your cousins, your friends. And you need to know if you are ready for that burden, before you ever carry a weapon.

@@Inertia888 you're definitely wrong about that. while i don't believe a true blue civil war will break out, go re-check the stats of the number of military individuals are living within this country. millions upon millions, and many of those are public and outspoken about their povs (in other words, how many tens of thousands _aren't_ outspoken). this kind of thing would be the literal END of the us regardless of which "side" won. think globally - the very _moment_ the world knew that such actions were being taken place on it we the people, foreign governments would be ransacking every aspect of this place. also, to "win" that kind of assymetrical warfare, it doesn't take nearly as many individuals as most would think. ever wonder how a few vietnamese villages armed with usty ak's and bamboo defeated the world's foremost super power in the world? same idea. the government and anyone in power knows this fact absolutely. it will never, ever happen the way its being hypothetically discussed in the comments here. and thank god for that. edit: i realize the vietname remark was extremely exaggerated. but the principle stands - there are people in this country with years of combat experience who are what most would label extreme in their views towards liberty and freedom. and it wouldn't even take the percentage we know about to "successfully" get an upper hand. million dollar drones and the majority of the other "tools of war" are almost meaningless in that type scenario.

First of all anybody who says Vietnam won the war doesn't know that they were killed vastly more than the Americans and then the Americans just pulled out ( by the liberal vote), they didn't lose and actually killed far more of their ideological enemies than they had lost. Also if this war pops off it's not just going to be in the US, it's global. And honestly what are you talking about, you think ex military is the threat right now towards this country??? what lmao ex military doesn't push for war they generally say things that this guy is saying which is that these leftists should stop pushing for A war because it won't end well for them. @@denmun9722
