Navy and Army prepare for Scottish coronation event with King Charles
Members of the Royal Navy and British Army have been training for their role in the ceremony that will see the King presented with the Honours of Scotland.
The Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication in Edinburgh on Wednesday is seen as the Scottish leg of the coronation - where King Charles will be presented with the crown jewels of Scotland.
Members of all three Armed Forces will take part in a parade and ceremonial guard on the Royal Mile on the day.

There's a Union of the Crowns. There shouldn't be a separate Crown Jewles of Scotland they should have been incorporated into the British Crown Jewels and used in the Corination.

Because the King has two crowns NOT one! That's why it is called the UNITED KINGdom.
Sorry the monarchy should have died with QE2 whom I have saluted during my service. The monarchy is an out dated tradition that is not needed in the 21st Century. It started with the village elders, then rich land owners and then those that decided that they were rich enough to start calling themselves kings and queens, when no one else gave them the title apart from themselves and handed it down to their yuppie families.

A "Yuppie" is a Young Urban Professional. I hardly see how a 74 year old man, whose favourite house is in Gloucestershire, fits that description.
