Nature use test: Vortex Copperhead HD 10x42 v Athlon Neos 10x42 v Olympus Pathfinder EXPSl 10x42

For binoculars to be appreciated, one must leave the sterile science world and enter the practical world of nature - the place where binoculars are generally used and appreciated. Here Bose does the "Nature test": Vortex Copperhead HD 10x42 v Athlon Neos 10x42 v Olympus Pathfinder EXPSl 10x42.

FYI I emailed vortex and they told me that the copperhead and the triumph are the same binoculars, the only difference being the color. Diamondback being black and triumph being green.

Nice video! Would you describe the focus wheel on the Athlon Neos as "smooth and soft", or is it hard to turn and with irregular movement? Is the Neos 8x42's optical quality way worse than the Kowa YFII 8x30? Thanks! I'm looking for something decent and with a smooth focusing wheel for $100 or less...

Neos has a good focus wheel. Smoother than the Kowa YFII series.
