I thought this was going to be corporate propaganda, but this is actually a well-presented, informative video. I had no idea about the storage facilities in Greene and Sullivan counties, but that makes sense, geologically speaking. I'm originally from Texas, which has severe problems delivering gas during severe winter weather; but I've noticed there are no problems having sufficient gas to keep our home in Indianapolis warm, even when it's -15ºF.

I worked for a large gas utility in MASS in 80, 90s and early 2000. MASS has some of the oldest cast iron main system in the country and at that time almost 100yrs. I went into distribution late 80s after being a service tech. Distribution covered 6 cities and towns and used off hour coverage. Not 1 person thought their job was a joke and I can claim working all winter long covering and repairing leaks. We never lost 1 in our area because of how professional we were. There is nothing like being outdoors in the AM and blistering cold clean air. Most incidents I research were caused by others but nobody hears the final report. The big gripe I have is progressing in management has gone to book qualified instead of in house progression. I made 1 video after a big incident in MASS and it couldn't be seen for a year. My final years were district inspector doing markout for Dig safe program

Ok, yeah, so I am absolutely one of those people pleasing wusses who reads the online birthday cards her bank sends her, because, hey, somebody went through the trouble of thinking about it, lol. But this video was actually interesting. It is nice to see people good at their jobs and with high work ethics. I am grateful for affordable heating, on cold days, or just having something as mundane as a hot shower, which we often take for granted. Just, you know, your work is appreciated. Hope that helps when the job gets hard at times.
