Great video man!!! This gave me the confidence I need to do it myself lol. My local dealer (no longer in business), along with 3 other dealers I called don’t touch them so looks like I’m doing it.

I just changed out my lower unit cartridge because it was leaking and the bearings were rusted. not that many hours on the drive. I purchased the new easy drive and put it in but now I have a ton of gear noise in the lower unit. It spins easy but something is wrong. I will try the old gear next. The gear it connects to looks good. Anybody experienced this?

Is there a part number for the drive cog mounted on pedal shaft. I have a couple of damaged teeth on mine. You are lubing the item at 7.52 in this video.

Besides possible leakage, is there any reason why you wouldn't try using synthetic oil to fill the cavity where the gears are housed?
