Wow. The sentiment of everything, his facial expressions, half nostalgic smile, his look, the lyrics. The instruments of the background and the atmosphere they create. Simply astonishing, two and a half minutes of something that hardly fits in words

@ Electronics. But Nat did not make 2 separate studio recordings of "Autumn Leaves". The clear indication that he was not lip synching that song on his NBC-TV show was the extra long pause he made at the end of the song before he sang the last words of the song, ".....start to fall."

How absolutely stunning. In 1957, Nat King Cole had one of the highest rated shows on NBC-TV. It ended because stations in the South wouldn't run it, and because the show couldn't get a national sponsor. What a freaking tragedy of racism.

How absolutely stunning. In 1957, Nat King Cole had one of the highest rated shows on NBC-TV. It ended because stations in the South wouldn't run it, and because the show couldn't get a national sponsor. What a freaking tragedy of racism.

Sorry man, but entertainer is not a very good word for Nat King Cole. He is not entertaining me, he is healing my soul. Jennifer Lopez is an entertainer, even though she doesn't entertain me either but for completely other reasons.

What an extraordinary voice and outstanding musician: singer and pianist, and lot of talent behind!
Wonderful! Such a nostalgic touching song!❤❤
There is a quote, attributed to Jack Benny: "Nat Cole is the best friend a song could have." The man could sing, could make a song his own.

I love Nat King Cole’s performances. He’s often been an inspiration for my music.
Oh, that matchless voice!
Mr Cole had something in his voice that will give any song a taste of somewhere whatever the weather..How I miss him❤❤
He was a wonderful Jazz Pianist as well as a fine singer. Andre Previn said he'd heard no better Jazz Pianist than Nat Cole.
Thank God for Nat King Cole. A one in a billion voice, magnificent. The musicians are fantastic too.

Like Mother Nature or Father Fall, he has exquisitely perfect timing, his serendipitous own. His melodic vocalic notes just drop like manna, fall as and when due.
Nat King Cole was a "Music God". His "works" are masterpieces.
I think I was 12 when "Ramblin' Rose" first hit the radio, the first time I ever heard Mr. Cole sing. I said something to Dad about how pretty the song was and he went into a long spiel about Mr. Cole and his music. Wow! Loved him since that day.
Papá,te recuerdo tanto con esta canción que pude escuchar hasta hoy, cuatro años después de tu partida. Que donde estés,seas feliz. Te amo, papa mío.
