And then she had enough of the German Schlager totalitarianism and did what she could do best. Jazz, Swing, Samba. I remember a TV show way, way back in the mid or late 1970's where she appeared after a longer absence from Germany. She performed with a very well-reputated swing orchestra (unfortunately I forgot the name) - and her art made my parents an me speechless. Never ever had anyone in this then so narrow-minded country expected anything like that from her who once had been everybody's darling (in the 1950's/60's). She even had her own show on German TV in the early 1960's, called "Bonjour Catrin".

I am brazilian and this video makes me feel proud of my country's culture. Also she is talented and her portuguese is really good. Their chemistry give me chills!

September 15, 2018: I was named after Caterina by my dad, Fermin L. Pacheco Jr. I was born on October 17, 1956 in Albuquerque at St. Joseph Hospital. Dad was charmed by her beauty and multilingual talents. Thanks Daddy. xoxo

She's FANTASTIC AND OF COURSE I LOVED AND WILL ALWAYS LOVE DEAN MARTIN. SAMBO MUSIC
Oh my, she is SO adorable! :-)
Two talented artists who have fun themselves and amuse the others. A small classic of two musicians and actors, having strong Italian roots, not adequately valued, despite the popularity achieved.
This is my absolute favourite! I can watch this a million times and it makes me laugh and fills my heart each and every time . ❤️❤️
I love them. Those smiles, jokes and that chemistry 🧪 just lovely
You can hear Mr. Martin say "You're beautiful" at 1:54.

Realmente uma grande artista!
It's amazing: two people in the same place at the same time thinking about the same things in harmony. That's a human experience. "Muah!" (kiss my fingers)
I'm grateful that she was so fluent in English that there was no hesitation or discomfort on her part, dealing with Dean being unpredictable. The results are hilarious.

Wow! Caterina is amazing. Never realized how cool she was.
The definition of charm
how talented and lovely she is!
There´s something in this video that made my day. Thank you
Dean Martin was a amazing singer and host, she plays guitar as an artist from another galaxy. She was lovely all the time, and singing very well.
Que achado maravilhoso de quarentena! Sempre me impressiono de ver nossa música brasileira valorizada no exterior.

Dean is having a blast. The eye contact though!
Fantastic woman and a awesome entertainer and guitarist
She is so adorable :)
She's so talented and catchy.
Tons of talent and charisma in 3 minutes - lovely Caterina and of course, the King of Cool
