Beautiful leaves, remembering the autumn of 20 years ago, sitting in a sitting-in seat on the Champs-Elysees in front of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, watching the plane trees fall all over the ground. 🍁🍂🍂

I just closed my eyes and let the music take me faraway, dancing through autumn leaves. So magic, I really appreciate it.

The eternal fine French music in modern lovely interpretation. It's interesting the cello has two matter as a cello and double bass. Drums makes music more rich and magic. Thanks for such good performance.

Am speechless! You have done something magical to this old, familiar piece. Every time I remember "Autumn Leaves" now, I will surely be reminded of the infinite wonder and joy your rendition gave my soul.

This arrangement captured my heart since contra bassist Jun Hyuk Choi played with street musicians in Florence Italy in 2015. This group has beautifully revived this beautiful jazz beat. Thank you.

This video has been amazing for my music lessons this week. We were able to not only enjoy how you are all such Tuneful, Beatful, and Artful musicians but we also discussed the Jazz genre and several vocabulary terms. Please know that all of my 500+ students (ages 4-11) clapped for you after their first listen. Perhaps the best reaction from one of my First graders was, "They're Korean! Just like me!" We are in Abu Dhabi. Thank you for this video. You now have many small fans.

Я уже сто раз пересмотрела, и каждый раз с огромным удовольствием. Кажется, все импровизации уже знаю наизусть и хочется самой сыграть это замечательное произведение. Музыкантам браво!

며칠 전 우연히 레이어스의 "오블리비언"을 듣고 완전히 레이어스의 열열 팬이 되었습니다. 제가 그 연주를 듣고 느낀 점은 피아졸라가 의도한 "오블리비언"을 레이어스가 재현했다고 봅니다. 난 "오블리비언"을 들을 때마다 오블리비언의 선율의 정체는 무엇일까?"라는 의문이 들었습니다. 슬픔, 허전함. 근원을 알 수 없는 결핍 등등 그런 의문이 레이어스의 연주를 듣자마자 풀렸습니다. 첼리스트 대연씨는 연주하는 것이 아니라 첼로 스스로 연주하는 선율에 몸을 맡기고 감상하는 듯 했습니다. 마치 한 몸처럼.... 그때 첼로의 음섹은 다른 악기와 조화로우면서도 독자적으로 오블리비언의 본래 소리를 절제된 완성음으로 들려줬던 것 같습니다. 연주자들의 능력이 참 놀라웠습니다. 그런데 오늘은 이브몽땅의 "Autumn Leaves"를 전혀 다른 분위기로 어깨가 들썩거리게 만드는군요. 드럼이 추가되니 재즈다워집니다. 인간사에서 누가 이런 행복감과 위안을 주겠습니까. 연주자는 인간을 행복하게 만들기 때문에 위대하다고 말할 수 있겠습니다. 레이어스, 진실로 고맙습니다!

You are all amazing musicians, but I seem to get particularly astonished by your violinist. This is the second video of yours I watch and even though I once again knew the tune, he always manages to surprise me by throwing some unexpected notes here and there. There's lots of technically good musicians out there but, with some of them, you can almost feel the tension. You guys seem to be natural performers though; when you perform you do really look like you are having genuine fun and that energy is absolutely infectious. It makes the difference between watching a technically correct performance, on the one hand, and having a blast, on the other.

Listen to Stephane Grappeli too, he is probally the most famous jazz violinist and not only because he played with Django, a true master in every sense of the word.
