Thank you so much!! Yes, I do not like the way the peroxide suds up but I had to clean it after shaving it.

Poor baby. I hope her family has overcome whatever issues caused them to go from being diligent to neglectful. I pray they get her to a vet expeditiously and that the lump is benign. She was so stoic during your shave of her infected area. A less patient and less careful groomer probably would’ve dropped to a 15 and ended up shaving over that infection accidentally. I’m glad she had you and hope she gets back on a proper schedule.

I remember this doodle from before, and I agree with some of the other comments. She didn’t look anything like this last time she was here. Something must have occurred within the family that led to this.. We truly are handling all that we’re capable of ❤🙏🏾🕊️

She is so cute at the end and looked even happier after her spa time.. Something she knows by someone she knows and trusts. Great you found the lumps bumps and infection and her owners acted on it right away... Brilliant. You are a fantastic groomer and just great for these dogs,

Look, some people choose dogs that they don't realize just how much work and dedication it takes for some breeds. My own daughter is one of these types of people. I noticed as her, doodle, dog was growing, that his hair was becoming thicker, and needed grooming more often. She already has three children to take care of. So, like any grandmother would do for her grandchild( I consider my children's animals, my grandchildren as well, because they are a part of the family) I took it upon myself to"gift a groom" for her doodle. Some people asked me, or in some cases scolded me for paying for someone else's dig to be groomed. And they said that it's the owner's responsibility to pay for their dog to be groomed. Well, while I do agree with that, I also am a Christian and my Lord expects us to help those in need. I saw a need, and I helped. Not for a pat on my back, but to set an example to others, instead of judging, offer to help, and you will be blessed as well.😊

Awwww precious Layla😢...I hope you feel better without all those mats. People get these beautiful dogs and for some reason don't keep up with thier grooming, could be financial difficulties or just being lazy and since they can't talk to complain, we need to stay up as best as possible on taking care of them.

@@mybrainhurts924 I’m not completely sure what you mean but when shaving mats out you have to shave them out a certain way (so you’re not grabbing skin). I’m not sure what you mean by rough because I don’t see what you’re saying. If you can explain a little more that be great!

Is that shampoo tear proof?

On the face 9 times out of 10 it is (unless they have fleas or allergies). I also rinse the eyes with cold water to get soap out because tearless can irritate the eyes as well. Just depends on how sensitive the dog is to the products.

Why do people get Doodles if they are not going to take care of them properly? This is blatant NEGLECT. Doodles require daily brushing. Even if they were unable to bath the dog, but not brushing is causing so much pain as the hair matts. This makes me both angry and sad.

It doesn't work well at all. Poor product.
