This is arguably the best fight in Naruto, the amount of background to their fight, how well animated it is, it’s hand to hand combat, and the flashbacks are intertwined with the fight rather than pull away from the battle, it’s perfect

Last fight, hands down. The scale of their fight, being the 2 strongest ninjas alive, the clash of opposite ideals, their relationship, the animation, the music, the choreography. Everything was just top-tier.

Need to see Chris' reaction to this one for sure 😂. Somehow, even if its recorded on an old Andriod with 240p quality, no audio, and ads up the butt. Thats how awesome this fight is

Kakashi vs Obito is, in my opinion, the best fight of Naruto, especially if you think of the entire context of the fight and their backstories, as well as the perfect soundtracks to accompany the fight. Despite being short, the taijutsu choreography is pure badassery, with amazing cinematography displaying the parallel imagery of "then" and "now", all without being over-the-top. If for some reason I was hesitant in my decision, the shot of the current Obito pushing away his past self, accompanied by the very fitting "Tragic" OST, confirms it.

During the fight the way it was switching from Adult Kakashi and Obito to them when they were kids. Was just so brilliant but brutal

This episode is one of Kishimotos fan favorite episodes of the franchise. Btw this episode done by 5 fans/animators of the franchise. The director and animation supervisor of this episode was Hiroyuki Yamashita.

Its crazy when you realize that the 2nd half of the episode was just Obito clinging onto life; while simultaneously fighting for control over his own body to counter Madara's Rinne-rebirth jutsu, while also performing a sealing jutsu to turn himself into the 10-Tails jinchuriki... all without even having a heart in his body. Obito's willpower is insane and Hashirama cells are truly undefeated.

Though this one is a hall of famer, there are other anime fights that may be less busy per se but just as good quality. The Zuko vs Azula fight for example. Just as emotional in some ways, we’ll animated, and very well choreographed

Kakashi vs obito is considered to be one of the best fights in anime history. Also about Sasuke killing the tailed beasts actually makes sense, he just needs to glance at them one time and just like that he has them under his control.

Really the best fight in Shippuden that takes us back to the rules established in Naruto. Mainly taijutsu with ninjutsu thrown in sparingly to accent the action.

This fight alone is among the best moments in the Naruto franchise!

I love the Kakashi and Obito battle it was so sad to see the current Obito push away his young self from young Kakashi just when they were gonna do the unison sign and its even more sad to see Minato realize too late Obito was the one who killed his family and destroyed the village way back

This fight is the best animated one in the entire series. U really feel the weight and Gravity of each Punch and the emotional damage both suffer from their exchange of fists. Obito is in my opinion one of the best written characters in the show (of course itachi is the best). I was really hyped to see your reaction to this episode. Sad that Chris wasn't there. He would have loved it ! Also how traumatic must it have been for Minato to realize that the person who was responsible for the death of himself and his wife and the release of the Ninetails was still alive and in the next second he finds out it was his student who he loved so deeply. Poor man. But he handled it like a champ !

The Godly Animations and transitions and the perfect symbolism of a flashback.. my Fav fight scene.. best thing about this fight..you don't even need to know the context.

The animation, emotion on that fight, the flashback, the hand to hand combat, the choreography of that fight, the epic moment when Obito became the Jinchuriki and the music being played.... This episode was just speechless. A masterpiece.

This is one of the best fights in anime history. And probably the last grounded fight in Shippuden. Imo the episodes from opening 14-16 were peak war arc

one of the best fight in anime ever. mainly because of how well done it is. usually in anime fights like this are mostly swish swosh fast movement. but this fight is something else, the movement were clear but fluid, the intensity, the context, the music slowly playing in the back and the flashbacks during the fight. just beautiful

Minato never killed Obito in the fight when the nine tails attacked, he just hurt him badly, but had thought until this very moment that it was Madara he was fighting back then Already at 11:48 in this video they showed when Minato was realizing it might be Obito, no1 had really told him, and I think he trusted his instincts and teleported to the mark he put on Obito back in the fight long ago because even when he got there and stabbed Obito he was like "Obito?", such a bittersweet moment realizing his guess was correct

It is hella creisi how the top notch fight between Kakashi&Obito was just half the mumbo jumbo

That's also how Minato teleported ten tails Beast bomb when Bee caught it because he marked him too

In the fight Kakashi vs Obito plays a sad song, it's very cool and the choreography of the fight (interweaving the fight from infancy). For me, this is probably the best fight in the whole anime, well, the best hand-to-hand fight in the whole anime for sure
