Narset-Veyran combo about to pop off!

Relentless assault doesnt work on cast off attack, cause it specifies "after THIS mainphase" and you're casting it in the combat phase

Just built this out of junk in my binder and bulk and it's still pretty good.

Woooow I missed that haha that’s even more busted! I’d definitely toss more wheels in her if I had realized that!

I wanted to make a niv mizzet parun deck like this because i like his "gadgetzan auctioneer"-esque way of working and i hate wheels... buuut this it extremely tempting because i wont have to focus as much on adding prowess, and i can add white. Though i guess i lose the more cantrippy aspect

I have shorikai as a vehicle deck and have always wanted to do kykar as a jeskai vehicle deck. Let me know if you do it with Narset.

Pushing this up on the algorithm cause I want to build this and nahiri badly. I am highly debating turning my veyran deck into Narset. Also veyran as part of the 99 would have been a solid note in your video too. I’m looking for advice on whether it’s worth adding a color to do it.

She was one of the last cards I cut but I think you’re right she could do some crazy work in the deck!! Narset honestly seems super fun if you add white you get monastery mentor and a couple other goodie’s I’d say gold fish it a few times and see if you like the play style! 😁

That's exactly what I did!! I loved my Veyran deck, but I don't play Magic competitively, just as a social game. With Veyran, 20 minute turns are way easier than one might think, so I wanted to take it in a direction with tokens. This was right before the Aftermath leak happened, so I picked Kykar to helm the deck. Literally the next day, the leak happened, and I clamored to get the new Narset.

@@YaBoyEdGames Also, I did go with a theme of having every card with Narset in the name in the deck, so if you want as an idea to put more lands or ramp and whatnot in, my recommendation is just cutting the Narset "tribal" pieces.

Don't forget that there's an infinite combo with Haze of Rage + Sorcerer Class+ Jeskai Ascendancy

Funny I'm sitting here rearranging my shuyun deck to he my new Narset deck. I'm using dragon throne of tarkir. Just got an intuition for it too. Not sure what I want exactly for it. Go wide and Voltron are the current goal.

Same it’s like a pathbreaker ibex that can go in any deck!

You put Cyclonic Rift in this deck, so i have a question, can i exile cyclonic rift from my graveyard with Narset and cast it for overload without paying the mana cost?

No. Overload is an alternative cost.

Kykar + Elsha + Sensei's Top = draw your deck at instant speed.

Urza will lower the casting cost and Elsha will let you cast it from the top
