Churches are favourite hangouts for narcs. At least we can avoid dating sites.

I love the way you just put everything right out there, no nonsense about it. Your a good man, I could listen to you all day, Your voice is very comforting and you make us feel that we are definitely not alone with our experiences with the Narc's. Thank you!

I met two horrible guys on social media dating sites. Both worked in law enforcement. One had a girlfriend I didn't know about. The other lied to me about buying me a wedding ring which I never asked for, he claimed he was that in love with me. I reported the latter to his police department and was informed by the captain that he was 'no longer employed there' within two weeks of my formal complaint. I suspect he has a pattern of behaving this way. Most narcs do. I will never use another dating site again as there are too many predatory men on there. Ladies be very careful!

Tom Lennon Yes, you are exactly right! Unfortunately, I learned that lesson the hard way. The worst thing is the department won't even tell me if my complaint was sustained - and that's a department policy. They would only confirm that this deputy was 'no longer employed there'. The narcs at the PD all hide behind privacy law. Sick people!

Tom Lennon I also forgot to mention that when I confronted the deputy about the fact that he did not purchase the wedding ring he told me that I told him to take it back to the store. Nice try. I had proof from the jewelry store that he never even bought the ring. This gaslighting attempt only further served to illustrate just how pathological he was - trying to re-write reality. They enjoy inflicting harm on people and will drive you into a mental hospital when it's really these crazies who need to be there. Keep your guard up!
